Yup, its amazing FReepers are willing to ignore that. He's anti-gun, anti-free speech and an extreme leftist environmental fascist.
I see Kennedy as an old-school Democrat, not the hair-on-fire Leftist/Communist we see running the DNC today.
If we don’t win the election, would you rather have Biden, the Kamala idiot, or RFK, Jr.?
His voice is worse than Biden’s.
Libertinefairians love RFK Jr. because he is a pothead who has insisted he will legalize marijuana and psychedelic drugs.
At this point in history, we are on the precipice of the total abandonment of the western created principal of representative government.
We are past the point of Republican vs. Democrat or Conservative vs Liberal.
The battle now is globalism vs populist nationalism.
The globalist cabal of oligarchs who control the globalist politicians such as the Bushes, Cheneys, Clintons, Obamas, Grahams, Romneys, etc... are calling all of the shots and directing the future of our country. They are using the illegitimate bureaucratic institutions such as the CIA, FBI, NSA, crooked courts, the DOJ, CDC, NIH, World Bank, UN, NATO, etc...
I think everyone could admit that Trump is not the most “conservative” candidate. He advocated lots of big government policies. He was even responsible for the bumpstock ban. However, he is the most populist nationalist candidate we could hope for.
Kennedy is of the same mold. He understands the evil of the deep state.
Trump should debate him but as a sstrategy Trump should choose to have a conversation with him, less adversarial and he should do it during a Repuke debate. Never Trumpers may start to look towards Bobby and Nevery Bobby may look towards Trump. Just a thought to expand the base. Gets you visibility thr media is desperately trying to disallow both of them to have.
I think he’s surely no conversative and not even close....but he seems he is honest when it comes to government corruption and the unholy alliance between corporations and politicians. In that regard he’s the anti-Biden. Trump has been wise to hold his fire on him.
>If we don’t win the election, would you rather have Biden, the Kamala idiot, or RFK, Jr.?
Speaking for myself, I have little control over who the rats select as their party’s candidate. Are you going to change parties and vote in the rat primary? I suppose you could donate to his campaign but that money could best be spent elsewhere.
When it comes to the 2nd amendment, I’m a single issue voter. If a candidate has no respect for the 2nd, why should I believe that he/she would have any respect for the remainder of the bill of rights and the Constitution in general.
Never trust a Kennedy.
In an honest election RFK is probably the only democrat that can defeat Trump. I will not vote for him but I do respect him for his honesty and some of his beliefs.
“it’s interesting that he chooses to avoid personal attacks ...”
He actually got in a really good indirect attack n Biden a couple of days ago when he pose with his shirt off, working out. Those pics, when compared to Pedo Joe, show how decrepit Joe really is.
Trump’s main challenger for the paranoid vote.
I can’t vote in any primary. But it doesn’t hurt to talk him up - especially to liberal voters. I bet many of them are secretly relieved that Biden has some competition.
He sounds like my high school friend who was shot in the throat when someone tried to carjack him.
No f’n way he’s against the 2nd amendment, pro abortion, pro affirmative action, married to a flaming lib
Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think he was ever promoted as a possible FReeper candidate. The guy is still a liberal after all. Any support for him, at least as far as I'm concerned, is that he can seriously ding biden, and maybe cockblock newsome in the primaries.
I'm leaning Trump over DeSantis at this point. If either loses in the general, I'd rather it be to RFK Jr. than to the other two sleaze bags, but obviously I hope for an R win.
not just that but he wants to engage the US in the green new deal crap that will ruin the nation-
He is also very likely far left on most issues but will avoid talking about them so as not to appear too radical
While I don’t agree with RFK jr’s views on some of the major isssues important to us Americans—his voice is a welcome voice at the moment—Outwardly he appears to be a more pragmatic democrat versus the cadre we have these days. In other words, he has no truck with communists like his father and uncle. A more common sense approach.
And we can all agree to disagree and I think that is something he would want. A real discussion on issues and policies as to why one approach is better than another. I am all for that—versus snippy soundbites involving name calling.
It appears at first that Robert is playing tht role of the conservative democrat—of which there were many over the years—I was one once—now I consider myself an independent conservative—not a republican.
he may support abortion—which I don’t—but if he adheres to the Supreme Court Ruling and only lobbies states to his view—then, while I still disagree—Federal abortion laws are off the table.
RFK jr did say that if a bill that was agreed upon by both democrats and replubicans on an assault weapon ban, then he would sign it. Frankly, would the two sides ever get together to create such legislation? Today no—tomorrow—maybe—And the Supreme Court has gotten a little wobbly on this issue so it is a red flag for certain.
Regarding Climate Change et al—I would like for him to expound more on what he views the governemnt’s role. He has said that it should not be a top down solution—of which I think most of use could agree with that—if the market place determines that alternative methods of fueling transportation is better than the current—then the public has decided and not the governemnt.—Currently electric vehicles are not the solution—but something similar could be in ten to 25 years—the market will decide as long as the government says out of manipulating oil markets to determine preferred outcome.
I am sure there are other areas where RFK jr and most of us disagree—but it is only through communication of ideas and instructive arguments that we can understand positions and solutions.
