The video is 32.06 minutes long. I'm impressed. He went to the border and spent time talking to people and studying what happens there. I would be way more comfortable with RFK, Jr. as president than with Biden.

Well, to the extent he is a more “mainstream” liberal, as opposed to the extreme leftists in the Democrat party, I would agree.

He is willing to consider nuclear, which is significant because he has been one of those global warming enthusiasts. I’ve always wondered why the global warming folks dislike nuclear, considering that nuclear produces zero greenhouse gases.

The rats are not going to let him get anywhere. Biden is the perfect shill. He uses his pen to shove through every thing they have dreamed of for years and he takes what few arrows the GOP sends.

Has he renounced any of the above positions?

You’re being scammed! He’s using the positions you like to gain political traction!

Essentially no different between him and Biden. Biden once had more moderate positions. RFK jr is taking a cue from his Uncle Ted. Teddy was once pro-life!

Teddy quickly learned if you want to be successful in the Rat party you get with the program on abortion. He became “flexible”!

RFK jr is being “flexible” if it means he gets votes!

Because they've hated nuclear for decades. It's just a given. They probably don't even think about it anymore. It's part of their fabric.

That's because clean, reliable, affordable energy isn't their plan.

Their plan is to crash the system, so that people will clamor for them to save us with Socialism.

Look at things with that in mind and it makes more sense.

Don’t be. Kennedy is just another in a long line of “I’m not like those OTHER liberals” con-men. He is an absolutely fanatical radical. Better than Biden? Nah, even if he is capable of some independent thoughts, he won’t stand up to the NPC-controlling overlords; he’ll be just a slightly more cunning salesman.

There's a great documentary by Oliver Stone on Amazon entitled "NUCLEAR NOW". It clearly shows that with electric consumption predicted to rise 4 fold in the next 30 years, the ONLY answer is nuclear energy, which with modern technology is safe, effective, and economically sound. The Chinese and Russians have already figured this out. Politics and environmentalist wackos have been the main impediments to progress in this country.

Nuclear Now

“I would be way more comfortable with RFK, Jr. as president than with Biden.”

How does that go? Damning with faint praise?

Yep, if solar and wind were ever to become practical, they would suddenly be against it. Guaranteed!

I read the transcript. He is not pro-nuclear energy.

He doesn’t mention the main point in contrast with his favored wind and solar, supported with false numbers, nuclear power works ‘round the clock, which (coincidentally) is exactly when we need the grid powered. Solar and wind don’t; they require fossil fuels to fill the gaps. In that sense, solar and wind are not carbon free. He, being a Leftist, does not care about powering the grid or filling the gaps.

Better than Biden is a VERY low bar, and not necessarily true.

Is there something wrong with his voice? Some illness or disease or something. Because I can’t understand half of the words he uses. I’d hate to label him a stammering fool like Biden if he has issues.

The global warmists hate nuclear because:

1) It works.

2) It’s “icky”.

There are three problems associated with nuclear that need to be addressed.

1) There was a strong effort to include so many reporting and safety requirements that they made the simple systems bloated and dangerous. The design should be simplified to include just what is needed, with some redundancy for safety.

2) As enriched uranium pellets are used, they develop an “ash” on their surface that radically reduces their efficiency. So typically, a pellet that is just 10% used will be discarded as high level nuclear waste, since there are no reprocessing facilities near reactors.

The solution to this is to require a reprocessing facility on the grounds of each nuclear plant, or at least a shared facility for power plants in the same state.

3) Large plants, centralized power generation have some advantages. But there are many circumstances were small scale nuclear power generation would be much more efficient. Right now, several companies are making such small reactors.

These can be made as maintenance-free units that are sealed, and designed to provide a given amount of power for a given time. Then the shipping container sized unit is returned to the manufacturer for refurbishment and fuel replenishment.

Because it’s not about climate change or CO2. It’s about control and AGW is just a tool. If it wasn’t CO2 it would be something else. Don’t ever try to argue logically with a progressive about energy or CC, they aren’t truly interested in either. They just want to control your life.

( Is there something wrong with his voice? Some illness or disease or something.)

Yes! He stuffers from a rare voice disorder, spasmodic dysphonia. Kennedy Jr. shared in 2007 in an issue of O, The Oprah Magazine about his disorder saying “the disease didn’t hit me until I was about 43. I used to have a strong voice.”

He has spasmodic dysphonia. It’s a rare disorder that affects muscles in the larynx by preventing the vocal cords from vibrating in a way that produces a normal speech pattern. There is no cure for the disorder.
