DeSantis Refuses to Support Trump if Trump is GOP Nominee
National File ^ | June 22, 2023 | CHARLES DOWNS

Ungrateful Ron DeSantis wouldn't be the Governor of Florida without Trump's endorsement...

On Thursday, Ron DeSantis refused to commit to supporting 45th President Donald Trump if he is the GOP Presidential nominee. Key DeSantis Advisor Paul Ryan previously stated he would not attend the GOP Convention if Trump is the nominee. DeSantis continues to follow the Paul Ryan Playbook.

A reporter asked DeSantis if he would support Trump as the GOP nominee.

DeSantis responded, “So what I would say is this, um when you are saying Cuomo did better on COVID than Florida did, you are revealing yourself to just be full of it.”

DeSantis made these comments despite the fact that during the height of the Covid lockdowns, the Florida Governor ordered armed checkpoints on the Florida-Alabama state line.

Florida reopened around the same time other red state governors began to reopen their states. By May 2020, there was liberal outrage that Missouri allowed massive Memorial Day parties during the “pandemic.” Trump never criticized Missouri Governor Parson for having his state open in May 2020 or any other Governor who opened their state around that time.

"I can't enforce something that's just not a law."

Laura Loomer brought up a strong point that earlier in the year, the GOP said they would require candidates to sign a loyalty pledge committing their support to the 2024 GOP nominee. Loomer tweeted, “Hey @GOPChairwoman under your loyalty oath pledge that you’re requiring for the 2023-2024 GOP debates, doesn’t this disqualify
@RonDeSantis? He just refused, on video, to support Donald Trump if Trump is the GOP nominee for 2024. How will you hold @RonDeSantis accountable?”

Earlier this year, National File reported that Paul Ryan said he will not attend the 2024 GOP Convention in his home state of Wisconsin if Trump is the nominee. It seems Ron DeSantis is following Paul Ryan’s lead on all things Trump.

Wisdom in the 70s is needed.
You cant find the perfect personality.
Look at what is needed to save us from what the left plan.
Every person who comes to Washington finds a deep state that controls what goes on. They cant get anything done without joining them.
Trump did not join and they went after him.

The weakness biden exhibits, tells the enemy its a good time to act. Trump exhibits strength.. with a stubborn determination “do not test my resolution”.

Let go of his pickadillows you dont like. We have a nation to save and not much time left. China is on the move.. a base in Cuba.
Biden does not have the backbone against agression.. he has been bought. They have reservations when pushing Trumps resolve.

Trump deals from a position of strength. It is the only position to have against enemy agression.

Did Trump pledge to accept the election results in 2016 ahead of time?

No

Trump cultists praised Trump for this.
Now they try to lambaste DeSantis for the same.

Creepy Trump cultists are Class A hypocrites

Quote: “That’s what Trump thinks. He thinks Cuomo did a better job during Covid.”

That is just wrong. Unless he thinks DeSantis should have killed more in the nursing homes or something.

I AM REMINDED OF THE LINE FROM A MOVIE:

“I COULD HAVE BEEN A CONTENDER.”

This is sad in a way.

I thought, mistakenly, that DeSantis was someone I could count on IF the President Trump 47 did not work out.

Paul Ryan should be arrested...just for being EVIL.

None of this matters. Next year is going to be such a mess.

Of course I can take it. Politics IS a Blood Sport, ‘Pirate Ragnar!’ ;)

DeSantis reminds me entirely of my WONDERFUL Governor, Scott Walker. He went up against Trump and was trounced.

A one-term, bought and paid for ‘republican’ globalist, open borders, Chamber of Commerce Governor is NOT who we need in the White House at this time. Well, actually, EVER. ;)

It will pain you, but after some research you will see that DeSantis is just that. He’s totally jumping the gun - with bad advice from Deep Stater Rove.

If Governor Scott Walker wasn’t ready for Prime Time, after TWO Terms as Governor, a balanced budget with cash to spare, both a House and Assembly (Senate) firmly in Republican hands and defeating the Socialist Democrats in Wisconsin in their BOGUS ‘recall election,’ DeSantis certainly is not ready for the White House.

Maybe against Brandon (Again? Ugh!), but not against President in Exile Trump.

I despise McCarthy. But Love Trump.
You would have to ask Trump why he supported McCarthy.
I trust Trump had his reasons.
Maybe he knows that someone other than McCarthy could not be elected.
Tell us who could have gotten the votes to become House Speaker?
We would all like to know.

***********

Aggression is the position of need but you also need
support from the populace. Be it legal or illegal they
defeated Trump in the 2020 election. Until you can
find a way to take over the top spot then basically
you are spitting into the wind.

I don't know what the options are per se but you do
need strength and preserrvernce to succeed. Just look
at the changes to the gov't since Columbus sailed in
1492. Changes have been made along the way with
consent of the governed. jmo

“All of the mentioned names support DeGlobalist.”

No, all of the above mentioned names are Never Trumpers. There is a difference. Guilt by association - what has DeSantis done as governor that demonstrates he is beholden to the Never Trumper establishment. No one seems to be able to answer that because he he is a rock solid Conservative.

You can sure make allegations. For example “open borders” just created an organiztion of 80 sheriffs from multiple states to fight the “open borders. Oh well, facts don’t matter if it feels good to repeat what many are saying.

Huh. I thought my argument was rather cogent, based upon what happened in my own state. And I didn’t resort to putting words in your mouth, either. *Scratches Head*

We states are ALL in this together. It truly IS, ‘We The People’ versus Mother Government.

If your guy wins the Primary, more power to ya. I’ll vote for him if he’s our choice, unlike DeSantis and his Sore Loserman attitude right out of the gate.

Desantis: "It's all about me me me".

Never mind that 76 million had their votes stolen.

Never mind that the USA has collapsed into third world dictatorship, riddled with every sort of crime.

There's only one person who can deal with all the harm that has been done to this country.

There is only one who can withstand the constant and vicious attacks of the DS.

His name is Donald John Trump.

All of the others have likely cut deals with the DS-which means the end of the United States, just at a slower pace.

I consider everyone running against Trump, to be compromised by the DS minimally, if not out and out traitors, who have some deal to line their own pockets.

If you think this is a normal election, (as opposed to a last ditch attempt to save this nation, and overcome the 2020 foreign sponsored coup that took place), and that it's ok that 76+ million had their votes stolen, and you refuse to look at the massive criminality in our government, and you won't acknowledge that we have political prisoners (J6) rotting away in the DC gulag, your loyalties are not to America, and you should not be running for anything.
