10 years in Atlanta. This is the coldest Apr-May-Jun in my 10 years
Ha! Coffee spit take right there. You owe me a keyboard ;o)~
What a fag. Perhaps he can propagandize people in California?
The PTSD claims are so that he can collect unemployment, Social Security disability payments and live off of taxpayer dough for the rest of his life.etc.
And maybe sue his ex-employer for a hostile work environment or something.
I wonder if he has a “Go Fund Me” account set up so that he can fleece donors too.
Kill yourself weather fraud.
Put the wimp on the next Titanic tour.
**(he’s in my area)**
Wow, you rule over the greater Dee Moyne metropolitan region?! (lol, I trucked into and through there many times from the Quad.)
“Caused by climate change..”
Mere utterance of that term marks a dangerous fool.
Dont agree with making threats against the guy, but if you can’t take being called an IDIOT for pushing politics as science then you really need to return to the liberal echo chambers you came from.
I have no doubt that the climate is changing. I find it hard to imagine it would ever be static. It seems comical to blame humanity for this change. I mean if 30 million cattle are destructive how did the planet survive 60 million bison?
Same in Space Coast Florida.
Wet,humid cooling effect rain for June.
Guess it’s better than basting at 95+ and 95% humidity.
(WOI in Ames was ambiguous and oddly inferior... KVFD out of Fort Dodge was run by Ed Breen - a Democrat who actually did try to boost his community - and had unintentionally hilarious local news with production values so low that it was almost surreal.)
Anyway, the weatherpeople and sportscasters at KCCI were generally affable and well-liked back in the day. WHO was famous at one time for Mike Lozano, the weatherman who some thought resembled Moammar Khaddafy.
The last time I was in the area and caught the KCCI news, all I could think was that Russ Van Dyke had to be turning at about 5,000 rpm and causing some cemetery to have a low-pitched hum.
Here in PA, we had a mild, snow-less winter, followed by a mild June. It's summer and in the forecast I dont see any need for air conditioning soon.
So I live in the DSM TV market and once interacted with this doof on Twitter. He had some screed about the climate. I asked him what the weather was 800 years ago, or 4000 years ago.
He then replied saying the earth is older than what the Bible says. I had no idea where that came from, I had no religious commentary in the previous tweet. (well I do know, that is who is enemy is). But anyway, not being a Christian, I just replied with a photo of Jesus riding a dinosaur.
Last I ever replied to the dweeb.
I never see people who have quit their job in the insurance industry, or engineering, or mechanics or office managers lamenting the unfairness of their business or the toll it takes on their mental health.
I suppose it is because the media tends to draw a certain kind of person that tends to wrap themselves up in their own little world. And life probably sucks, cause while it is cool to be on Channel XX, cool doesn't fix the brakes on the Honda when you make dogcrap wages.
A longtime meteorologist is quitting his job at an Iowa TV station and plans to change careers after viewer backlash over his “liberal conspiracy theory on the weather” led him to seek treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder.
When one of the angry messages appeared in his inbox, he rushed home from the hair salon where his wife was waiting alone and suggested to her that they call the police, according to the Washington Post.
Police in Iowa located a man in the town of Lenox, 63-year-old Danny H. Hancock, who was found to have been the one who sent the threatening messages.
My #climate coverage has garnered negative feedback. But last month I received the first threat, followed by a flow of harassing emails. Police are investigating. It’s mentally exhausting & at times I have NOT been ok. If you’re facing this & need someone to talk to, I’m here. 1/ pic.twitter.com/SGbZfEr1uT

Hancock was slapped with a $150 fine, according to the Iowa Capital Dispatch.
KCCI (I am old enough to remember when it was KRNT) at one time had some reasonably balanced - a few actually conservative - on-air personalities. “
They still have them. Eric Hanson is a great guy. Positive, very non political. He’s a believer and sings with a Christian singing group in our church.
