I’m saying all this, but have very mixed feelings about Trump as nominee...lol.

It’s not ideal, but unless he’s dead or incapacitated, it’s the reality. Desantis will NEVER overcome Trump’s base... and he knows this.

Desantis is a “climber” so he’s hoping Trump dies or becomes incapacitated. Trump will not take him as VP.

You know, that "climber" descriptor sounds to me as close as I've heard so far as to what's pushing the Ron. I myself have perceptions that he took bad advice, and does have some perhaps premature ambitions. But he also sees what is (deliberately) broken in our nation, and, like Trump, wants to fix it. He hasn't been in the politics game as long as many, but hell, Trump jumped in with both feet in 2016 and did pretty good. He was a lawyer, and knows how the system works and how to work the system. I'd toss in his military service, but Pete Buttgig's 'service' canceled that out. $8-D

And we also know what's pushing the Don, and that's a desire for retribution (we can relate to that), to fix everything the left has sabotaged (just like last time, and probably just as transitory), to hopefully crucify en mass every bad-stabbing deep state bastard and bastardette that stabbed him in the back, and a dose of ego thrown in for good measure.

Trump does know who he's dealing with now, and I'd expect him to behave accordingly. No quarter this time. It would be glorious. Scary as all hell... but glorious. And we get to keep the best governor in these 50 states right here, kicking all sorts of woke asses, which have needed a kicking for far too long.
