That's a pretty weak argument you're making. When you try the line about being governor not a candidate, that's a meaningless distinction. He signed that law a month before he announced, obviously his intent was clear by then.
Outside of that, your last fig leaf is to say the mean MSM will report the names of Ron's donors, and we can't have that.
Good luck convincing anyone with this line of reasoning. At least you can understand why non-Trump haters view DeSantos with suspicion.

Trump is childish, and so are most of his blind disciples.
Thanks for the illustration.

Wonderful observations, Observator! Let me repeat your points and add a few more to show the kind of character DeSantis is proving to be:
- Being governor not a candidate... he signed a [special] law a month before he announced, obviously his intent was clear by then.
- The names of Ron's dpnors we can't see. He takes great pains to not reveal his backers such as the Bushies and other RINOs.
- Florida legislator's RINOs made a special law for Ron to hide his travel records from the public visibility. How's that for government accountability?
- He is going up against a man (Trump) who essentially put DeSantis in office in 2018!
- When Ron commented about the outrageous bogus charges against Trump, Ron chose his words to equate the Trump case to that of Hillary Clinton and Bidung.
I have a new meme for FReepers to consider. And no, I feel no shame to post this -- if you can't have free speech on Free Republic, what's the point?
And since Ron's donors are paying tens of millions of dollars to hire many thousands of DeSantis supporters to knock on doors in Iowa and South Carolina, am I entitled to post a new meme that nobody paid me a nickel to create.
De Snake Hiss!
So what is a snake?:
Dictionary.com: a treacherous person; an insidious enemy.
Urban Dictionary: A person who seems like a really nice person you can confide in, but is actually a backstabber waiting for the moment to strike.
Merriam-Webster: a secretly unfaithful friend
