Secretary of State Tony Blinken traveled to China this past weekend to give the green light to the communist regime to invade Taiwan.
The Biden regime is destroying America from within and surrendering our principles and leadership on the international stage at the same time.
As Steve Bannon says, “Elections have consequences. Stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.”
Tony Blinken made this announcement from mainland China, “We do not support Taiwan independence.”
Tony Blinken, “On Taiwan, I reiterated a longstanding US ‘One China’ policy. That policy has not changed. It’s guided by the Taiwan Relations Act, three joint communiques, the six assurances. We do not support Taiwan independence. We remain opposed to any unilateral changes to the status quo by either side. We continue to expect the peaceful resolution to cross-state differences.”

The United States has never recognized, nor have we supported, Taiwan independence.
I thought the Taiwan government has always considered themselves to be the legitimate government of all China, so nothing really changed.
Official US policy since 1972.
Leave it to the Baitway Pundit to blow this out of proportion.
This is an internal Chinese matter. But, when China takes steps to re-integrate Taiwan into China will our military stand down and move aside and we continue to buy cheap Chinese products?
Chinese military not quite ready take the island without guaranteed success. What does Xi do?
1) wait a few more years and continue to build up the military but with perhaps Trump in office
2) take a chance within the next year with a Senile Buffoon in charge
One million Taiwanese refugees coming across The southern border soon. Wait for it..
.
They will follow orders, as they always do.
You would hope that before any hair on anyone's head is disturbed, Congress would have the decency to declare war on China - but I don't expect much from them, these days.
Anyway, the reunification will be peaceful, in all likelihood. An Anchluss.
It doesn't matter who is in office.
US policy is that Taiwan is part of China.
From whom could Taiwan purchase a few nukes? If China invades, retaliation should be severe.
Agreed, similar to the transition of Macau and Hong Kong.
Uncle Roger- China’s “Bud Light” moment. Epic. How often have they asked the citizens of this country how they feel? We haven’t had actual representatives of our voice for decades. Everyone I’ve known (since the 1960s as a preschooler) stands with Taiwan. They support one China because they support a one world government, anti-christ system. The bible says, “come out and be ye separate,” and they did. Kudos. Considering they sold us out to China, the traitor puppet of course stands by them.
LOL.
The way I see it, I think U.S. policy is that China is part of Taiwan.
This is one of those foreign policy dilemmas that will probably never be reconciled except through a long, drawn-out process.
At least they'll make a positive contribution to the nation, unlike the current flood from third world places like Somalia.
I know that
But what would be the US reaction be if China invaded?
Biden admin vs Trump?
least they’ll make a positive contribution to the nation

How the heck did one small island become the place where so many of the entire worlds microchips are made anyways?
The US posted a aircraft carrier group between Taiwan and the Mainland ‘49-’50. The PLA kept coming over in anything that floated. They didn’t make it.
And the “one china” policy is actually Taiwan’s. That the only legitimate government is the Nationalist Taiwan government, the ROC. Of course in ‘72 the US stopped supporting that.
Now they have their own nukes (supposedly) so they could go it alone. Neither country may exist tho afterwards.
Sorta like Russia’s existential battle with Kiev, the actual seat of the Kiev Rus. The swamp bandits are mere posers to the culture and nationality of another country.
That’s the thing about totalitarian military dictatorships, they suck. No one wants to join them.
