Kremlin official suggests Russia could one day try to reclaim Alaska from the US
Business insider ^ | July 7 2022 | Cheryl Teh

A Russian official this week threatened the US over the freezing of Russian assets, urging it to remember that Alaska was once part of Russia's territory.

"Let America always remember: there is a part of its territory that is Russia — Alaska," Vyacheslav Volodin, a Putin ally and speaker of the Russian parliament's lower house, said on Wednesday, according to multiple media outlets.

"When they attempt to appropriate our assets abroad, they should be aware that we also have something to claim back," Volodin added.

In other hawkish comments made on Wednesday, Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy secretary of Russia's Security Council, posted a long tirade on Telegram in which he slammed "any attempts to create tribunals or courts" to investigate Russia's actions in Ukraine.

"It won't work with Russia, they know it well," Medvedev wrote. "That's why the rotten dogs of war are barking in such a disgusting way."

Warning that it would be "absurd" to try to "punish a country with the largest nuclear potential," Medvedev also slammed the US for attempting to "spread chaos and destruction across the world for the sake of 'true democracy.'

"The entire US history since the times of subjugation of the native Indian population represents a series of bloody wars," Medvedev wrote, referencing other US actions such as its bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II and its involvement in the Vietnam War.

"Was anyone held responsible for those crimes? What tribunal condemned the sea of blood spilled by the U.S. there?" Medvedev asked.

Medvedev's comments were not the first time the Russians threatened Ukraine's allies with nuclear warfare. In May, a Russian propagandist warned that a nuclear strike could wipe out the UK and Ireland.

"We can multitask."

We haven't been able to do that since WWII.

Given your post’s attempt to smear by introducing a strawman argument I am not seeing much more reason to engage with you... Now they tell you those labs were not bio labs

LOL, straw-man? The same russian government that claims the labs in Ukraine were bio-weapons labs, is now claiming the US is developing drones to deliver bio-weapons mosquitos against russian soldiers.

Every US city has multiple "bio labs", but there are very few "bio-weapons labs" in the US. Important difference.

Seriously RAND? Next you will provide UN reports as a source for facts. Sorry but it is foolish to accept any organization that is staffed and funded by globalists.

Here let’s take a look at RAND’s DEI statement
“Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at RAND
At RAND, we strive to cultivate a community that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion as central to our culture, our values of quality and objectivity, and our mission to serve the public interest.”

Sound like a conservative organization to you? So you trust implicitly an organization that eagerly promotes DEI, good to know.

So I am guessing you still believe covid started in a Chinese open food market?

Remember when the government lied about covid being man made in a China lab. Good times

How about easing up on the strawmen and ad hominems and actually try to debate.

>> This is for those who doubt that we have an interest in what is happening in Ukraine or who believe in the good intentions of Putin and his regime

That’s a logical fallacy called “false dichotomy”. The beliefs you put forth are not mutually exclusive, or even contradictory.

I believe — belay that, I *know* — that we have NO BUSINESS pumping money we don’t have into corrupt Ukraine (and corrupt Ukrainians’ personal grift accounts) when our own country and its borders are in such sorry condition.

At the same time I know perfectly well that Putin is an evil leader of an evil regime who cannot be trusted.

Both unrighteous principalities deserve to fail.

entire Biden crime family and bribes much originating in Ukraine?

Bribes for Hunter and the rest of the Biden family came from the previous pro-russian Ukrainian President's circle of oligarchs.

Guess that has no bearing on why Biden started this whole mess.

Biden tried to appease Putin, by lifting Trump's sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. Putin sensed that as weakness and invaded Ukraine.

Did I read in depth no, did I scan, yes. Likely not enough to have an honest forum conversation on the article.

I do not see a point to wasting effort putting energy into a detailed reading of a report from an organization in the business of spreading propaganda.

How about we first establish what is reliable as a source before we try to force someone to accept likely propaganda.

How about easing up on the strawmen

Seriously? You're bringing in covid policy in the US into an argument about bio-weapons labs in Ukraine, and I'm the one using strawman arguments. Okay

Proof you have that the bio labs in Ukraine are bio-weapons labs?

UN still sees no sign of biological weapons in Ukraine-Oct 27, 2022

This marked the third time since the 24 February invasion that the Council has formally met at Russia’s request to address its ongoing allegations.

The UN’s High Representative for Disarmament Affairs, Izumu Nakamitsu, had previously informed ambassadors – first in March, and then again in May – that the UN had seen no evidence of biological weapons use in Ukraine.

“This remains the case today,” her Deputy, Adedeji Ebo, told the Council.

Which tribe? Which one owned America, what were the borders, and what specifically was taken from whom?

Wow, honestly, not being flippant. Do you believe Zelinsky is not part of the corruption over there?

Zelinsky is the same side of a different coin, he just chose to align with a different outside power structure.

Do you not find it strange that Biden was playing ball with the previous Pro Russian Ukraine leadership and receiving bribes only now to somehow be so supportive of Zelinsky who is the anti Russian president, that does not seem strange to you in any way?

LOL ok there it is, the UN as a source.

Sorry but I am forced to assume you are a closet lib if you believe you can quote the Un as any kind of reliable source.

I get it, you have your leftist ideology to inform your world view. I prefer to ask questions and challenge the narrative, especially when the narrative is set by others whos’ agenda is not aligned with the well being of the average human (See UN agenda 21 and UN desire for depopulation)

How about we first establish what is reliable as a source

Right, but you're going to accept russian sources that there are bio-weapons labs in Ukraine, the same russian sources that are now claiming the US is building special drones that can release infected mosquitoes far behind enemy lines as a new type of bio weapon to be used against Russian soldiers. Okay

LOL ok there it is, the UN as a source.

UN would love to bash the US which it does routinely, but in the case of Ukrainian bio-weapons labs, even after seeing russian "evidence", said there is nothing to it.

...the US is developing drones to deliver bio-weapons mosquitos against Russian soldiers.

You seem to forget that the US Government is already proved guilty of unnecessarily using bribery, economic sanctions, lawfare and subversion of Legal Foreign Governments to prevent the manufacture and distribution of Malathion and several other harmless mosquito control insecticides for decades, Worldwide, resulting in the disease and death of hundreds of millions of men women and particularly children Worldwide, particularly in less developed Tropical areas.

So would the US Prog Liberal Socialist Government do this to Russia, ... YES, in a heartbeat, they've done it before!
