Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who is running in the 2024 GOP presidential primary, said Republicans should “back off” of “accusations” of the “weaponization of the Justice Department.”
Hutchinson told ABC on Sunday that while he disagrees with some of the DOJ’s decisions, he believes Republicans are incorrect to label the department’s indictment of former president Donald Trump as “weaponization.”

People like Asa Hutchinson are useful to have around, they continually show what the opposition in the Republican Party is all about, just in case people forget.
Look the Democratic Party, they force compliance to the point no one speaks out and goes against the narrative, when that happens chaos happens, RFK Jr. is about to get the treatment Republicans get all the time, the media will put their smear machine into high gear, in a few months RFK Jr. will be worse than Trump in their minds.

Asa is running a campaign grift. He’s cruising to get less than 1% of the vote, but he financially benefits from having a campaign that everyone knows is going nowhere.

Funny thing is, if he were actually the nominee he still wouldn’t get the support of Bill Kristol, Jonah Goldberg, Steve Schmidt and others. He’s running in the wrong primary.
Back in ye ol FReeper days when Clintoon was president. Asa Hutchinson was in the House of Representatives. He was a leader in Bill Clinton’s impeachment. He was hailed here. Way back when.
Asa H once wuz a hero. Now he is a laughable Zero.
There is another possibility.
If they thought the elections were up and up with no cheat, then they may be thinking, "why, if that dolt and knees up can get the gig, why not me?"
The Clinton Impeachment was a farce only meant to trick people into believing there is actually a difference between the two parties.
