But no serious problems. It's been decided, however, that from now on, I'll bring his home and work to him at a care facility. Treating his pressure sore has resulted in a slough of other emerging difficulties -- breaking-down of the skin on his back being the main one. It's in his best interest that he will be admitted into a facility where he can get the adequate care he needs, and as mentioned, I'll bring his home and his work to him at the facility.

Prayers for your dad.
I’ve been dealing with pressure sores for over a year. Being in a wheelchair for over 40 years, there’s no “meat on the bones” around my backside.
That makes the skin more susceptible to breaking down. And the skin where the old sores are tend to damages more quickly.
Its probably for the best that he gets 24/7 professional care. God bless you for taking care of him. My son cares for me - and has seen my backside more than any son should have to.
