- as counter-offensive is 'paused' Ukraine's much-anticipated counter-offensive has yielded a mixed response Russia's dominance in the air is having a major impact on Ukraine's counter Putin also resorting to suicide tanks in a bid to restrict Ukrainian advances
Russian soldiers are packing tanks with explosives and remotely driving them at Ukranian trenches before detonating in massive fireballs as part of a terrifying new tactic in the Ukraine war.
It comes as Kyiv is forced to pause its counter-offensive in the South of the county amid heavy losses of Western armoured vehicles, according to the Wall Street Journal.
And terrifying new video footage from Donetsk shows the remotely-controlled T-54 laden with six tons of explosives lumbering towards the Ukrainian trench this week.
As the Ukrainians unleash a wall of fire, the suicide tank hits a mine and slows down.
A Ukranian soldier then hits it with a rocket blowing the tank up in a massive fireball.
Despite the tank being halted approtimately 200ft from the Ukranians, it is likely the huge pressure wave from the explosion killed some soldiers.
Russia has used the tactic at least twice before, althrough this is the first time the explosion has been caught on camera.
On this occasion, Russian propaganda channel 'Romanov' claims that Moscow stuffed the tank with six tonnes of explosives before attempting to blow up Ukrainian soldiers by sending it to Kyiv territory using autopilot.
However, the ISIS-style tactic backfired when the remotely-controlled suicide bomb blew up on a landmine around 100 metres from the front line. The T-54 was then finished off by a Ukrainian RPG, triggering the massive explosion.

The ISIS-style tactic failed when the remotely-controlled suicide bomb blew up on a landmine around 100 metres from the front line
A Ukrainian RPG then shot the tank down, triggering a massive explosion on the battlefield
What is suicidal with remote-control? Also this transporter (not tank) was captured from ukies at first place. It was their and in it whole point why they didn’t run away but got blown up.
Plumes of smoke could be seen billowing from the suicide tank as the Russian experiment backfired

May putin/russia continue to have devastating loses and may more and more russian soldiers surrender to Ukraine saying
“I want to live”
You don't know this. You are talking through your hat, Russkie.
How is this called a suicide attack when it’s remote controlled? Things
Based on the shockwave it had a lot of explosives in it. That was massive and anyone within that blast was either killed or has a massive concussion likely with permanent brain injury and other internal injuries.
I would not want to be anywhere near something like that and especially not inside the shock wave front. Ugly.
“finished off by a Ukrainian RPG”
I’d like to see the look on the guys face who popped that cap.
Despite having $70 billion dumped on it by the U.S. alone, Ukraine’s advance is looking pretty lame. How do you even pull off that level of fail?
(A Ukrainian RPG then shot the tank down)
Lol.... That sentence makes it look like the tank was in flight and then shut out of the sky.
it’s not looking lame at all to me
stay tuned
Look at all the money well spent.
Would have made more sense to have used 100 of these...https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goliath_tracked_mine
Detailed whistleblower in Ukraine court right now says foreign doctors have been parting out and selling the organs of wounded Ukrainian soldiers. He gives times dates, locations cities numbers involves everything very interesting. He also detailed circumstances where, by civilians whole families were wounded, were basically killed off for their body parts, it is a bizarre video. Apparently it’s going through the Ukrainian court system now.
Aren’t suicide tanks banned by the Geneva convention or something. People could get killed.
And it is also probably a sound use of obsolete equipment
remote control suicide tank?
