Remember in 2016 the press supported Trump in the Republican primary because he built up TV ratings (would anyone have watched news of ¡Jeb! 24/7?) and because he was going to be easy for Hillary to beat in the general. One of the most surprising comments that I head RFKjr make during a recent on-line interview was on gun control. You would think since his uncle and father were both assassinated that he would understandably be in favor of gun confiscation. However to paraphrase what he said: he believes in the 2nd Amendment, does NOT believe in gun control, and that we need to go after those committing crimes with guns to determine their mental state and look for the causes of gun violence, and not restrict the rights of law abiding gun owners.
