Thousands of demonstrators descended upon Dodgers Stadium Friday evening to protest the team’s Pride Night ceremony honoring a controversial group of queer and trans nuns.
Organized by the group Catholics for Catholics, the massive crowd jammed up the main entrance of the ballpark ahead of the scheduled pre-game ceremony celebrating the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, according to reports.
The mass of protesters, some holding signs like “Bud Light the Dodgers” and “Stop Anti Catholic Hate,” took over the entire block on Vin Scully Avenue and chanted “Save our Children.”
The local chapter of the Sisters, whose members dress up in drag in traditional Catholic nun habits, are being presented with the Dodgers’ Community Hero Award for their “lifesaving work” for the teams’ 10th annual Pride Night.
Critics have blasted the group as a “blatantly perverted, sexual, and disgusting anti-Catholic hate group.”
“We’re hoping that the Dodgers will see the amount of Catholics and Christians showing up here today peacefully,” protestor Anthony Rodriguez told KTLA outside of the stadium. “We’re showing that we’re not budging. We’ve drawn a line in the sand and we’re putting our faith first.”
About an hour before the first pitch, two “nuns” joined members of the Dodgers organization near the third base line to accept the award for what the stadium announcer called “outstanding service to the LGBTQ+ community,” video of the low key, 30-second ceremony shows.
The small crowd in the stadium ahead of game time responded with a mix of cheers and boos, video shows.

Communists finally figured out, “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em”, and infiltrated big business.
I see $47 in the upper deck.
I thought black face and white face and cultural theft was all poo poo these days. I guess not.
I haven’t taken my son to a ball game in ages, so we went to a game not long after opening day. I thought I’d treat him to decent third base tickets a few rows up from the field plus lunch before the game. It was a $500 outing! That was the very last pro game I will ever see.
To make matters worse, they had erected a gigantic net from the backstop fence to the outfield, so we had to watch the game through the mesh. It is modern times — ruin everybody’s experience to avoid a couple of fan injuries per year.
Hope the usually family-friendly Dodgers have learned something from this - and from A-B, Kohl's and Target:
"Major brands like Anheuser-Busch, Target and Kohl’s have collectively taken $28 billion in losses following boycotts over their decision to push LGBTQ merchandise, according to Axios."
Sounds like the Dodgers weaseled out and did the presentation when they knew nobody would be in the stands. But in the end it did look like a decent crowd in the stands. And there was probably still a lot of pro-gay Propaganda disseminated during the game.
Giants at Dodgers. Big rivalry. Ticket prices increase for rivalry games. Perverts are irrelevant.
BTW, Dodgers sell 40,000 season tickets. Nothing going to hurt them much this year.
That's where we are.
While we were all “Capitalism Uber Alles”, the Communists figured out how to turn that to their advantage. We sold them the rope they would hang us with, just like they said we would.
They don’t care about going broke, as long as the cause of communism is advanced.
And once the takeover is complete, the freaks will be first against the wall, once they served their purpose.
And that day is fast approaching.
SPJNK.
So the “promotion” part was irrelevant, right?
I think that always happens in a communist take over. As they are being led to the firing squad, they are saying, but we are on your side. The commies will say, if you are a traitor to your own country, we can’t trust you either, as the machine guns rip them to shreds.
So what?
Judging by the video clips and photos the protests were marginally successful.
Virtually no one sat for the ceremony and no Dodger was photographed with those freaks.
The Dodgers sell about 40,000 season tickets and it looked like some of those seats stayed emptied. But most were occupied.
Sections in the upper levels were mostly empty which meant single game ticket sales were slow.
They had to have lost, what, a million dollars last night between ticket sales and concessions.
Parking? Merch? Maybe two million.
I hope they get permanently boycotted.
I don’t think socialism is the answer here.
And I do nt think they made money with this giant insult.
Of course not. But my point is we have to understand that what passes for "capitalism" these days is every bit a threat and unhealthy as socialism is.
