A longtime producer for Tucker Carlson is out at Fox News after he was deemed responsible for the on-air headline that referred to President Joe Biden as a "wannabe dictator" because of the indictment of former President Donald Trump.
The producer, Alex McCaskill, confirmed his exit in an Instagram post. Fox News did not comment on Friday.
He had remained at Fox after Carlson, the network's most popular personality, was fired on April 24. The reason for Carlson's sudden ouster, less than a week after Fox agreed to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787 million to end a defamation case, has never been publicly explained.

Me too. Fox lost me on election night 2020. Tucker Carlson never lost me.
I’m actually glad the last strand tying me to Fox was cut. Tucker’s exposure has exploded since he left. Fox was holding him back. He OTOH, was propping Fox up - their audience has been cut in half.
My wife decided to come home from the hospital and pass away under Hospice care at home back in late March 2015. In the bedroom, where we used to watch FOX News, we kept the television off. After she passed away in less than a month after arriving home, I did not turn FOX News back on. Stopped watching the news period. Would only watch the morning local news while ironing a shirt - for the traffic report and weather. Than stopped watching that. Hardly watch regular television now and never the news. When I see photos of some of the people I used to watch, I am shocked by how age has treated them.

I thought it was a call-in “witness” trolling the news reporters and the FAA employee confirmed them. Either way it was one of the best spoofs in media history.
Murdoch has destroyed FNC. I occasionally watch Marie on FBN but that is it. I used to watch the station regularly.

I doubt he’ll have a hard time finding a new job. Tucker will probably hire him once his own network gets rolling. He worked for Tucker’s FNC show.

He was Tucker’s producer at Fox. Kinda makes you wonder if the two had coordinated this ahead of time. Maybe Tucker had his Twitter video finished before it even happened.

I’ve always fantasized about hijacking the crawl / Chyron at MSNBC or CNN. It can’t be that hard to hack into it. Wouldn’t it be great?
