Two Americans were found dead in a luxury hotel room in Mexico’s scenic Los Cabos region.
Paramedics were rushed to the seaside town of El Pescadero in Baja California Sur on Tuesday after two Americans were found dead at their resort.
The two American tourists were identified as a man and a woman, both in their mid-30s. They have not yet been named.
The couple were discovered unconscious in their room around 9.00pm on Tuesday. They were dead by the time paramedics arrived, the Baja California Sur Attorney General’s office said

Never went to MC, but went to Monterry long time ago with second wife. Visited one of the original Pollo Regios. Got half a bird, an onion, beans, tortillas chips and hot sauce...cost like 2 bucks back in 2002

Yeah, I was confused. The article only stated it six times in the first six sentences. It wasn’t definitive enough.

Of course I didn’t read the article. This is FR, after all. The headline and the first four sentences say they were found dead, and that’s good enough for me.
The article could have been reporting from the paramedics point of view...in which case they WERE found dead. Bad writing. Most likely AI generated text.
Possibly. Artificial intelligence has a long way to go before it can completely replace natural stupidity in journalism, though.
