What I’m saying is that when your favorite candidate and Christ Christie are attacking DeSantis from the exact same angle, that means your candidate is getting bad advice, and it also means DeSantis is doing the right thing.
I totally agree with you. I don’t know who is advising Trump right now, but they’re doing a lousy job of it. He was attacking DeSantis FROM THE LEFT and accusing him of being too conservative, especially in his fight over LGBTQ+ with the teachers’ union and the very, very powerful Disney (which takes a lot of guts).
Then again, maybe Trump is advising Trump.

Christie’s case is DeSantis is not conservative for the government to punish a corporation if they disagree with you.
Christie doesn’t lay the case out properly. It’s not if somebody expresses a disagreement that you’re punished. This is a corp that has responsibility to the shareholders, not to changing the policy of education in the state. And it’s not a corp that has been punished, it has been subsized. So putting it on equal footing with all the other corps which capitalism and not subsidizing which is what conservatism is all about is not punishing.
Trump’s position is that he is being outplayed by the company and he could have stopped it long ago but doesn’t know how to negotiate.
But Desancitimonious supporters always lie so if you don’t praise DeSantis it is normal from them to lie and claim two different arguments are ataccking from the “exact same” angle.
