Aren’t you being a little over-the-top? Perhaps short-sighted? Thomas Massie, for example, is not a “RINO.” The censure is appropriate, but a $16 million dollar fine? If the Republicans did that, the Democrats would do the same thing to certain Republicans when they next control the House.

a $16 million dollar fine?Agreed. Where is the authority for that in the Constitution. If arguendo we have rule of law then Schiff gets his day in court under due process. /suspension of disbelief

but a $16 million dollar fine? That's a deliberate "poison pill" ...
Might as well include tar and feathers. Schiff deserves it, but it's simply not going to happen.

Massie claims that he doesn't want to impose a fine because he's in a legal battle to recover a fine that Nancy Pelosi imposed on him for refusing to wear a stupid mask in the House chambers during COVID.
This is where he's got it all wrong. Don't fight the stupid fine in a court battle (which I think he ought to lose anyway). Fight back by doing the same thing -- with even more money at stack -- to the @ssholes on the other side of the aisle.

But that was not Massie’s excuse.
He said it was unconstitutional.
He is not a Constitutional Lawyer or a member of the Court.
He is a CongressCritter.
Courts decide what is constitutional or what is not.
Not Massie.

Massie always has an excuse to support China and Biden.
He’s full of crap

While Schiffty certainly deserves a hefty fine, $16M is over the top. I'd settle for censure alone or censure and a reasonable fine, whatever that is to these people.
