You should read the indictment. They have a lot of texts from the staff discussing the moving of the boxes to different locations, including ballrooms, storage, the business center and the Trump residence, all from before th FBI got involved.
What does that have to do with anything? Nobody is cited in the indictment as stating what the contents of the boxes were. There is no way to claim that any of the 31 documents were located in one or more of the boxes in the photos so their inclusion in the indictment is for purposes of prejudicing the jury and setting an inference for the public that “all” the boxes contained classified documents and were unsecured with the ability of anyone, (guest at Mara Lago), could have had access to them. This is an attempt to get around the defense that the documents were in the locked storage room and that there was constant Secret Service protection at Mara Lago.
So however did America survive before the PRA was signed in 1978? Presidents were taking stuff home right and left when they left office. Nobody accused them of espionage then. Get a grip, FFS!
There is not one inkling that there were classified documents in the boxes when they were moved to Florida.
“You should read the indictment.”
I don’t believe ANYTHING in the indictment.
It just boggles the mind to think that anyone, including the Trump family, could live like that with boxes all over your daily living space. Mara Lago is obviously not your typical residence, and has more square footage than I could dream of, but c’mon man! Trump is too fastidious to let his home get cluttered up like that.
Furthermore, if the “staff” moved boxes that implies the boxes were stored somewhere else prior to the “move”. And just where could that have been? Hmmmm....
