As soon as the federal indictment of President Trump was unsealed, we were treated to stories featuring photos of “boxes of documents” stored in various rooms at Mar-a-Lago — including boxes in places like on the stage in the White and Gold Ballroom, and even in a bathroom:
Like the photos from the raid showing classified documents splayed out on the floor, these photos created a certain impression with the public. Just look at how many boxes there are! Look where they were put! Dozens of boxes all over the place, where anyone could get them.
But as Newsmax host Greg Kelly pointed out, it’s “a scam” that’s poisoning the public’s perception of Donald Trump in this case. Why? Because, as Kelly noted, the actual number of classified documents that were found at Mar-a-Lago could fit into one single box, with ample room to spare.
“You don’t have to be a lawyer to look at this and know that it’s a scam,” Kelly said. “Number one, in that indictment, they put some pictures in the indictment to scare us. Ooh, look at all these boxes. The classified documents in the boxes. These pictures are actually in the indictment, and there are dozens and dozens of boxes.”
He continued, “So I went through the indictment and saw that how many documents, classified documents, did the FBI actually recover? 102.”
Kelly then pulled out a box like the ones in the photos. “So, everybody, I got a box right here, alright? This is one box.” He then showed an intact full ream of paper — 500 pages — plus another 100 sheets of loose pages to represent the actual classified documents that were found. They didn’t even come close to filling a single box.

Ann Coulter took the bait.
And who put those boxes there? My guess the FBI stooges moved them from their original location and made it look chaotic on purpose.
The author is making a specious argument. 102 documents is what the FBI collected in the raid. In the first load of 15 boxes Trump returned to NARA, there were classified documents in 14 of them, including 30 Top Secret, 98 Secret and 69 Classified, with some of the documents marked SCI (Special Compartmented Information) and SAP (Special Access Program). Then when Trump did respond to the subpoena, he turned over another 38. So 197+38+102=335 classified documents. And the fact that 14 out of the first 15 boxes contained classified documents proved that any of the boxes could have contained classified documents.
The pics were distributed to their buddies in the fake news who dutifully flash it up on screen with dire announcements of indictments for documents.
It’s a coordinated smear show just like the Jan 6 Cheney scam shows on tv
The question has been asked — Does The fact that the President brought these classified documents OUT of the White House into his home mean that they are AUTOMATICALLY DECLASSIFIED?
If not, what are the formal procedures Trump had to follow to declassifiy them? Are they written out somewhere? And who wrote them?
You should read the indictment. They have a lot of texts from the staff discussing the moving of the boxes to different locations, including ballrooms, storage, the business center and the Trump residence, all from before th FBI got involved.
That's the bullshit line the DOJ wants you to believe - that faceless apparatchiks working in the bowels of Fed.gov bureaucracy have power over information greater than those spelled out clearly in the Constitutions for the President.
That’s a question that would probably need to be litigated, but in this case, it’s almost irrelevant. Trump wasn’t charged with mishandling classified documents. He was charged for having national defense information and refusing to return it when asked. How the documents were classified is not an issue relevant to the charge.

I take that statement of yours to mean that there is NO FORMAL PROCEDURE or STEPS the President has to follow to Declassify a document.
If my understanding is correct ( and correct me if I’m wrong ), how the heck is the jury supposed to know if a document is classified or declassified? For that matter, how will we know?
The democrat FBI had a full day in Mar A Lago to set up and stage these photos.
You mean when the prosecution tried to make it look like there were boxes piled to the ceiling, but there was less than one box that really mattered?
RE: He was charged for having national defense information and refusing to return it when asked.
Is he REQUIRED BY LAW to return it? Is it written down somewhere?
And even that one box didn’t matter anyway, because their case against Trump is fake?
What does this have to with her?
I saw these pics for the first time a few days ago. The first thing I noticed was a box in the second pic is marked “MAL Bedroom” I presume that MAL stands for Mar A Lago.
Pretty obvious that box has clothes or personal items of some kind in it. What about the rest?
It takes great patience for me to discuss this case.

If you have anything written down somewhere, by all means, post it here or share the link if you have it on the internet.
