Cash buyers will pay more.
I have purchased too many new vehicles in my lifetime and one of the first things they ask is whether you are financing or paying cash. The dealers have sweetheart deals with banks and financial institutions that get them kickbacks for steering loans. If you pay cash they will know to negotiate higher sales prices to ensure they get the profit. If you say it is none of their business or hedge your answer they will not negotiate the lowest price.
