Those of us in the Sunshine State have seen what our governor has accomplished, with actual legislation, not merely executive orders.

True, not sure if this poll is accurate but l would not be surprised to them tied in DeSantis’s home state

"Those of us in the Sunshine State have seen what our governor has accomplished, with actual legislation, not merely executive orders."

DeSantis has never held an office where there wasn't a Republican majority. He's had a 2-1 Republican majority in the State Legislature since he was elected. During his time in Congress, Republicans held the majority in the House. He's never had to face a Democrat majority ever. Congress and State Legislatures are two different ballgames. Historically, when Republicans are in the majority in Congress, they squander their opportunity to get any meaningful legislation passed. They "go along to get along" with the Democrats. We've already seen it this year, and it's been that way for many years. Why would it be any different with DeSantis in the White House? He's no miracle worker.

DeSantis should be thanking President Trump for endorsing him when he ran against Gillum. As it is, he barely won. Had Florida's historic voter fraud kicked in, Gillum would have been sitting in the Governor's office. DeSantis is an ingrate. Less than six months after the people of Florida trusted him enough to give him a second term, he turned his back on them, and threw his hat in the Presidential Ring. He didn't just decide to do that a month ago, or two months ago. He had it planned before he even ran for re-election last year. He even made sure that the "Resign to Run" law was changed on the day he announced his candidacy for President, so he wouldn't have to resign to run for President. He's made sure he'll still have a job after he crashes and burns. Pretty self-serving if you ask me. Rino Charlie Crist did the same thing. Rick Scott reversed it when he was elected Governor.

Case in point of Congressional Republicans being our own worst enemies:

Twenty Republicans voted with Democrats to kill motion to censure Adam Schiff
