PDF format. Anyone interested in the indictment around the "boxes hoax" should read this. It came out weeks ago but didn't get much coverage for obvious reasons.

“ham-handed criminal investigations of matters that are inherently not criminal”

I have nothing to add.

Pretty good read, sounds like they tried to set him up from the beginning.

If there was a Trump Presidential Library in say New York City securing Trump’s documentary legacy for history, every decent, concerned American would have cause to be thankful and the DoJ campaign against Trump would not have gotten ‘legs’.

The distressed NYC commercial real estate market presents an opportunity for Congress to act.

Congress should create the library and bar the DoJ prosecution of Trump and his loyal aides.

Did you, Jack Smith, delay the prosecution of Trump for any reason other than the inherent concerns regarding the prosecution?

Would your delay of prosecution of Trump include waiting upon a debt limit deal?

One question the letter answered for me is that it was NOT Donald Trump who personally selected these documents, but White House and GSA staffers. Media reports, however, repeatedly imply that Trump personally selected the documents, even that he “stole” them, and that he did so with some specific nefarious intent. This letter makes clear that all of those insinuations are false.

Have ever prosecuted any case before, Jack Smith?

Does the name...ring a bell?
....

It seems you have a fairly good memory.

What was your plan of attack in the...case?

Could you write it down for us.

Do you think Trump could write down many significant discoveries he was made aware of during his presidency?

Do you feel it important to be able to introduce documentary proof during a trial?

Would you like to have the ability to retain documents to fend off politically motivated attacks?

Many, many people in an administration can classify documents. Comey is a good example. After he met with President Trump...he typed up a report in his car on the way home...to make it timely...Comey was specific in mentioning Flynn and was pretty sure he (Comey) had a gotcha...on President Trump. Comey classifed the memos...and IIRC, even sought out guidance as to what level it should be classified at. Comey himself later declassified it...I think at about the time that he released part of it to the media.

Classification is a security measure. It tends to remain in force far longer than necessary. People get busy and don’t have time to declassify.

In compilations of say a daily intelligence report, few people have the knowledge to declassify it.

Attempts to declassify present a possible security risk.

Mr. President:

You have six classified items that probably need to go back into the safes.
