Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that if he were elected president that he would pardon former President Donald Trump if convicted in the Mar-a-Lago documents case.
Anchor Dana Bash said, “So before you heard any details of the allegations in the Trump indictment, you put out a statement saying if you become president, you would pardon Donald Trump on day one. Now you’ve seen the allegations, and you’ve seen that he stored highly classified information like nuclear secrets and others in unsecured areas of his country club. Given everything that you’ve seen, do you stand by your promise to pardon him if he is convicted?”

Good for Vivek. DeSantis would probably do it as well.
Still...
I think of the entertainment value of having Trump as AG.
Think of the FBI totally answerable to him, as well as all the swamp creatures in the DOJ.
It would be a wonderfully symmetrical piece of retribution.
Is he a natural born citizen?
Oh. That answers it. Like a wayward idiot boyfriend.
The answer he can’t say is that he is either establishing himself as bona fide VP material, Getting his visibility up for 2028, wanting to force the debate into areas of his personal interest (anti-woke for corporations) or as a susbstitute if President Trump has a health emergency. (If it is the last, he could be a DeSantis VP).
Washington D.C. has been turned into a political theater that only looks like the old American system. It’s like one of those old Hollywood sets of western towns made up entirely of false fronts. We are actually being governed by a network of billionaires now and China figures very prominently in that system. I’m very sure that they exert a hell of a lot of influence over the inner workings of our government.
I like that analogy.

Yep. Money talks . . . power walks. Lenin knew this very well; he engaged with 'useful idiots'.
Vivek did a fascinating interview with Jordan Peterson podcast. Look it up the man is brilliant. But we can’t have good people in government. They will be destroyed.
