Andy McCarthy: If Half of ‘Devastating’ Trump Indictment Is True, ‘He’s Toast’ and I Think They Can Prove More than Half

On Friday’s broadcast of Fox News Radio’s “Guy Benson Show,” author, National Review Contributing Editor, Fox News Contributor, and former Assistant U.S. Attorney Andrew McCarthy stated that while former President Donald Trump does have ample reason to say he’s been singled out, the indictment against him is “a devastating document. If they can prove half of it, he’s toast.” And he believes more than half of what’s in the indictment can be proven.
McCarthy stated, [relevant remarks begin around 35:35] “It’s a devastating document. If they can prove half of it, he’s toast. And I sense that they can probably prove more than half of it, because a lot of it is recorded conversations, testimony from his lawyers, and that sort of thing. So, I think, Guy, part of the reason that he’s been hitting so hard at the idea that he’s being singled out — which he’s got a lot of basis to say that — part of the reason is his real defense here…is the Hillary Clinton precedent. And I’ve had to try to make this point a number of times today, selective prosecution defenses are very effective in terms of trying to argue to the prosecutors that they should not exercise their discretion to charge. Once they do charge, those defenses don’t help you very much.”

Trump’s lawyers had to step down because they were named in the indictment documents — which means they are potential witnesses in the case.

“Doesn’t look good for Trump...”
It just depends on which link you append.
And would anyone on earth expect Andy McCarthy to not say that?

Trumps lawyers probably quit because the indictment lays out solid reason for believing Trump lied to them so they would lie to the court.
That's the thing - President Trump is completely innocent and The Man is trying to frame him.
We know he declassified all these documents because he told us so. Therefore, either Biden reclassified the declassified documents to entrap him, the Deep State created a Deep Fake AI of President Trump, or he did say those things on tape but only waving around Fake Papers to flush out traitors in his midst. Time will tell.

“Did you actually read the indictment?
An indictment is a set of uncontested accusations sometimes posing as facts, as in the cliche about indicting a ham sandwich.

What Hillary did was criminal and her friends protected her. To include Donald Trump, who, while still "President Elect" and not even sworn in yet, announced to the world he was going back on his campaign promise to pursue Hillary for her mishandling of classified information. It was a terrible mistake, and Trump's enemies aren't being as kind to him.

They quit because of the questioning by Smith makes them witnesses. If they felt Trump had lied, why were they on TV after the indictment supporting Trump.

The lawyers quit because they are named witnesses, meaning conflict of interest. Not that that means anything to you POS anti-Trumpers. They have been persecuting Trump for more then 7 years, and you freaks are cheering them on.

We know he declassified all these documents because he told us so. Uh no, he didn't. He said so in that recorded conversation with that publisher and writer.
"“As president, I could have declassified, but now I can’t,” Trump said in the 2021 conversation."

McCarthy, Dershowitz, Turley, all demorat snakes, that Trump supporters got cozy with, because they were desperate for anyone to defend Trump. Well, now when it really counts, they have no one left.
