Florida Governor Ron DeSantis criticized the indictment of rival Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump saying there had been double standards in issuing charges.
DeSantis also promised to fire FBI chief Christopher Wray as one of his first acts as President if elected - while suggesting that if Trump had been charged with crimes - then Hillary Clinton should have also faced charges.
'With me, you know, you'll have a new FBI Director on day one. We'll clean out all these agencies on day one. We're going to have a major overhaul.

You support a guy who promised to dismantle the deep state and then was so confused/overwhelmed by their power that he let them dismantle him instead. DeSantis is a proven winner who takes on establishment ideas and con men and defeats them.

A very true statement. The house cleaning needs to be done in the GOP too, and that needs to be done by the voters, and will never happen. DeSantis will get the same treatment Trump is getting, being the DOJ will go after him for anything, real or imagined.

DeSantis may be Trump’s only hope for a pardon
Trump has never said he would fire Wray. I just posted the video of his interview with Hannity a few weeks ago where he said he appointed Wray because Democrats like him, and only time will tell if he needs to be replaced. Go watch it if you doubt it.

Don’t quite see what is so unbelievable. The Senate is the one that confirms the FBI director. Trump can’t just appoint anyone he wants.
Trump was not allowed to fire Jeff Sessions, which he wanted to do desperately. If he had fired Wray after firing Sessions, he would have been impeached — Nixons’s Saturday night massacre accusations.
DeSantis is just the meat puppet of the stinking Bush-Cheney cabal.

You're fooling yourself if you think Trump supporters would just roll over and take DeSantis. DeSantis hates Trump supporters as much as the Bush family that supports him.
I think RFK Jr. Is going to get many votes too and the Democrats aren’t going to know how many cheat votes to make it unnoticeable unless the count takes a month.

DeSantis has clearly determined it was yet another bad hire by Trump, and plans to fire Wray ASAP.
Trump, has not, yet, based on his last interview on the subject. Nor should he be trusted to select a replacement, should he ever actually admit his horrible mistake.
Elect me, and I’ll get rid of the FBI, CIA, NSA, IRS, ATF, and the NEA.
