Don’t quite see what is so unbelievable. The Senate is the one that confirms the FBI director. Trump can’t just appoint anyone he wants.
Trump was not allowed to fire Jeff Sessions, which he wanted to do desperately. If he had fired Wray after firing Sessions, he would have been impeached — Nixons’s Saturday night massacre accusations.
