We also need a leader with some level of personal self control.

We sure don’t need a “leader” who can’t control his knife and fork.

"We also need a serious adult to shut down public access to the beach using a pandemic excuse"

That's not why Fat Bastard shut the beaches down. That happened pre-"COVID" (July 2017), and it was about a budget fight going on in the NJ State legislature at the time.

"A social media storm is blowing around New Jersey Governor Chris Christie after photos showed him appearing to relax on a state beach with his family on Sunday. A few days earlier, Christie had closed the state’s beaches and parks to the public after hitting a deadlock over budget allocation."

My mistake.

Fact remains he shut down access for everyone else while he and his family enjoyed a day at the beach.

Bingo. Someone who clearly hasn't resolved the issues that led to him using food as a coping mechanism is in no position to be responsible for others.

Chris Christie shut down taxpayer beaches in the entire state for everyone other than himself and his family.

Regardless of the reason, in that case a budget battle, it shows his absolute gall that he would avail himself of beaches he closed to the very people who own them.

From the guy who called Trump Putin’s useful idiot

Hey, you can't be right 100% of the time.

But I wanted to credit him as the source of gathering the links in the post so that it did not appear I did the work.

And the links are from a wide variety of sources.

How many have you read/viewed so far?

His “manners” mean more to you than his results for the American people.

You’re not a leader, Chris.
******
The problem is that his manners — his juvenile name calling and personal attacks — affect his results. An articulate,
principled Ronald Reagan accomplished more than Trump because he was respected even by his enemies, who were numerous.

“I wonder, who is paying Christy’s 40 pieces of silver?”

In this era of instant digital communication, campaign finance laws should require names of donors and amounts given to be posted on the internet instantly for voters to see when the donation is received. This posting should occur on the campaign’s website as well as the Federal Election Committee website.

Additionally, all non profits giving monetary and non-monetary (say volunteers for canvassing) contributions to any political campaigns should be required to provide a detailed list of all of their donors, with amounts, for a 10 year period.

Voters should know who owns candidates. With today’s technology, the data should easy and instantaneously available to query and should be updated in the moment.

The leftist who talk constantly about saving “our democracy” should support full transparency and this would be a good issue for conservatives to use to heighten awareness of their hypocrisy since we know the last thing they want is transparency. Unfortunately our GOP politicians don’t want transparency, or accountability. Therefore you will never see transparency of campaign donations.
