BFM TV reported that the attack had happened in a park and that the assailant had been a Syrian asylum seeker.

A Syrian national wounded four children and an adult in a knife attack in a French park on Thursday, police said, leaving some of the victims critically ill in hospital.

The attack, which happened in the French alpine town of Annecy, was carried out by a Syrian national with legal refugee status in France, a police official told Reuters.

Two children and one adult are in life-threatening condition, while two children were slightly hurt, police said.

Witnesses said at least one child involved was in a stroller.

I made a comment on Twitter that it could be a racially (or religiously or both) motivated hate crime. That did anyone know if any of the kids were Arabic, black, Chinese etc or Latinos etc.? Some liberal woman replied that was crazy as no Latins existed in France…. Honestly the left (especially women) are as stupid and ignorant as they are brainwashed. I was an exchange student in Geneva back in 1999 and visited Annecy. Its absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful green lake - green due to it being glacier meltwater - and gorgeous town on its shore. When I visited it was clean and was not filled with 3rd world savages. Sadly, that may be changing now.
