Some Freepers say that both of your parents must have been American citizens when you were born, to be a natural born citizen
Other Freepers say that being born an American citizen makes you natural born, regardless of your parents citizenship.
This is a never ending debate .
It’s not a debate at all if you do a little research.
If your parents were legally within US territory then you are a natural born citizen. That is what the term meant at the time it was written into the Constitution, and has also been adjudicated multiple times.
Those saying otherwise are either stupid, willfully ignorant, dishonest, or a combination thereof.
There are also never ending debates about Sovereign Citizens not having to pay income taxes because the flag in the courtroom has a golden fringe. Or whether or not the Earth is flat. Sane people avoid those.
