So - Lessee: if there were huge amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere, wouldn't we see vastly increased plant growth?

Other than the local kudzu, I don't see massive increases in plant growth.

We do have increased in plant growth from the increased CO2, which is a great thing! It helps feed more people and animals.
