Good thing we sent all those patriot systems so Russia can show China how to defeat them. I’m sure keeping the Biden and Romney families rich in corrupt Uke cash is worth it.

There will be many issues.

1. Technology loss, i.e. enemy threats getting their hands on our tech and developing systems to counter it.

2. Loss and black market sales of our own weapon systems, potentially to be used against us or an ally in a future scenario.

3. Potential shortages in specific ordinance or weapon systems in the case we need them. Albeit I doubt the (((severity))) of the reports to this end. Having seen some of the stockpiles we have, I think we could wage WWIII and IV and not exhaust what we have. The real risk here is certain specific systems, not across the board.

4. Our “war industrial complex” will benefit, but in the game of guns vs. butter, the US tax payer will get soaked, no differently than during Vietnam: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guns_versus_butter_model

5. (the worst problem long term) We re-opened a door that thank God had been closed by cool and rational minds circa 1989-1991. Expect Russia to return the favor in the future, i.e. arm our enemies. The proxy war games will restart, as in the Cold War with Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan. Do you really think North Vietnam, which could not even manufacture a car tire in 1968, built SA-2 missiles which brought down our B52s, MIG-21 fighters which shot down some of our fighters, RPG-7s which had just been developed two years prior?

***We are spread out thin, are across the world, and we have many enemies. We are in places where we deny we are, i.e. Libya, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. If they play it smart, it won’t be that hard to target us.

Africa has been an area of emphasis in the last years: https://issafrica.s3.amazonaws.com/site/images/2019-08-27-iss-today-foreign-military-map.png

All the Russians have to do is send some folks (trainers) with a supply of Verba missiles to some group that don’t like us and the rest will take care of itself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_militias_in_Iraq Pick one that you think despises us the most and is willing/able to take action. It’s all bullshit... we never left Iraq and now 12 years later it’s OK to talk about the still 2,500 US troops in country there since the elections are long over. 2,500 troops, plus all the diplomatic staff, intel folks, private contractors, etc.: https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/why-u-s-forces-remain-in-iraq-20-years-after-shock-and-awe

Eventually, as things stabilize for the Russians and their war industrial base ramps and catches up, as they identify who they can use as proxies and begin to reach out to them, they WILL return the favor.

But one thing I am certain of, just like Nazi’s aren’t so bad now, and terrorism is OK too, when the Russians hit us back with a dose of our own medicine, there will be outrage that they did this. How dare they arm someone that kills our boys? It’ll be interesting to see how our entirely non-propagandist media will spin this.

My fears exactly with each weapons system we give the little grifter. Based on the comment it sounds like he is expecting to be engaged in the war after the inauguration in 2025.
