How many people here found Bush “inspirational” twenty years ago?
Partisan loyalists have to believe things that will sound offensive or ridiculous years later, and politicians have to say things that they don’t entirely believe.
It’s the cost of doing business, like DJT’s contributions to Democrat politicians.
If you loved GWB, don’t throw stones.
I was pissed at GOP selection of gwb, but in the end we were left with little choice. I got the zot for questioning the origins of the Killian docs, and immediately was vindicated of my critique with gw’s gifting the CCP with the EP3 incident and failure to hold the crew accountable for their choice to land on a foreign/enemy military airfield rather than ditch or bail out. Then came patriot act; I wish him a painful, cancerous death.
In the end I was wonderfully wrong about Trump - though correct about his advisors - but I was never critical as with gwb, just cautious.
Keep on with your DeSantis confirmation bias, but you’re barking up the wrong tree on traitor gwb & ‘partisanship’.
