Sounds as if Trump is surely over the target.

Yes.

We are NOT at that level or we’d be at war.

Again, I see hypocrisy. Dems reviled for their vulgar ways in public, including their disgusting signs at “protests” yet now it’s ok. And now the Dems can say “see? Repubs are bad!” While they ignore THEIR massive endless failings.

This guy is no George Washington, who maintained civility despite being in war.

And he is my guidepost, though I am far from being that good. As anyone here can see.

“I think it’s so petty. I think it’s so juvenile. I don’t think that’s what voters want,” DeSantis told

In effect, Trump just Disarmed DeSanctis

“Ron is right. “

I think he’s half-right. The mocking is indeed petty and juvenile but DeSantis lowers himself by bringing it up. If he wants to bring it up he should joke about it or make up a nickname for Trump.

I think you meant to reply to the poster prior to TR.

Anyway yes, the hypocrisy is thick here. People who largely denigrated anyone who didn’t have MIL service before now totally ignore it with Trump. Mind you, I’m not in the camp that thinks MIL is necessary or a perfect barometer, but I’m shocked at the change in tune here.

Sorry, but at this point, 6 months after the childishness really began, I think there is zero wrong with “bringing it up”. He ignored it for a long time. Good on RON. But by now it’s all fine.

Trump recently mocked DeSantis for the pronunciation of his last name and referred to the Florida governor as “Ron DeSanctimonious,” a nickname the former president frequently uses.

I'm not big with the DeSantis nicknames.

But DeSantis changing the pronunciation of his name when he's running for president is a little weird. Beside, I believe you need a space betwetween the "De" and the "Santis" part to pronounce the name as he now wants.

Lockdown Don has a nice ring to it.
Tony Fauci agrees.
No lockdown=no mail in voting=no Sleepy Joe. Face facts Trumps liberal daughter ran the show.
For the record please tell me what is sanctimonious about DeSantis?
Or is it because his last name happens to have some letters in it that make it barely rhyme
?
Maybe Maggie Haberman-Trumps scribe can figure it out.
Lockdown Don because it’s true. And funny 😁 😂 😀 😄

He doesn’t touch Tim Scott or Nikki Haley. He knows better.

True.

Just like the Deep State barely touches DeSantis compared to Trump. They know better.

But not a show-stopper.

“I think it's so petty. I think it's so juvenile. I don't think that's what voters want,” DeSantis told Jack Heath on “The Pulse of New Hampshire.”

That shows you are clueless about what voters want.

Trump is not speaking roughly about Biden, the economy, energy prices.

No

Trump talks tough about DeSantis.

That is what middle voters don’t want to hear.

In 2016, the economy was stable and Trump’s behavior won him the White House.

In 2020, the economy was in shambled, Wuhan Flu was still being sensationalized and Trump looked detached and disconnected.

In 2024, the economy may be falling off a cliff larger than 2009.

The voters we need to win want solutions, not games.

In my GOP circles, Trump’s behavior is wearing thin. He still talks too much about 2020 and Russia Gate and too little about food, energy and immigration.

> Trump being Trump....he did the same thing in the primary before he won election.

It's not 2016 anymore and Trump needs to show a level of maturity and growth commensurate to being President.

He is already in legal peril due to several indictments in the works ( Democrat lawfare is real, ask Sen. Stevens and Rep. DeLay about it ), will make voters question his eligibility to hold office.

His failure to fire Fauchi and Brix after Labor Day will draw the ire of many still angry over the COVID-19 lockdowns.

But IMHO, working with McConnell to raise the debt limit past our GDP for the first time in history is the biggest threat to his candidacy, and has yet to be exploited.

Continuing to behave immaturely with all of this political baggage is not a good look ...

In French and Italian this is common format.

Trump should save the vitriol for the filthy democrats and lay off the good guys in this movie. He’s liable to lose a shitpot of support if he doesn’t.
