If you studied Trump’s history, he has always been a “prankster” and loves to pull such stunts and humorous tricks. Only problem is, not everyone finds his pranks to be funny.
That said, I just watched him on NewsMax and I have to say...despite one dig at DeSantis, which I’ve already seen him make elsewhere...he was quite impressive. Most of what he says I agree with....just like most of what he did in 2017-2019 I approved of and agreed with. He is VERY convincing in person, IOW. It’s just those damned name-calling posts and tweets that tend to piss me and others off.
That said...should he win the nomination and actually be able to run for president right up until election day (yeah, I’m that paranoid...lol)...as it stands today, I’ll vote for him. But... if he later shows me that I’m just as deluded as I was when I stupidly voted for other GOPers that sold us out in the past... I’m not going to take another “fooled ya” well. I still have some uneasy misgivings and nagging feelings, but as of today....I’m in.

I’ve said repeatedly on FR, if Trump wins the nomination, I will gladly vote for him, the same applies to DeSantis.
However, the notion that Trump is a superior negotiator playing 4-D chess is a fallacy.

Why did Trump never fire Facui while Desantis hired as the head of Florida’s public health agency a doctor known to oppose Fauci on Covid matters?
I have nothing against Casey DeSantis, but the pepertual use of her as a prop, and having to speak for him because he’s boring as “Ishtar,” is not helping him.
