Republicans are crying foul following the news of President Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) targeting West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice’s (R) family.
Justice, who is also a GOP Senate candidate hoping to unseat Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV), is the latest to experience political targeting from Biden’s DOJ, as it has filed a civil complaint against his family’s coal empire — over a dozen coal businesses ran or owned by his son Jay Justice — citing “repeated violations of the law” in hopes of recovering what the assistant attorney general of the DOJ’s Environment and Natural Resources Division Todd Kim described as “penalties they owe as a result of those violations.”

actually that’s a great description, even motto, for the GOP. call them the ‘Cry Foul’ party. right, cry foul with big crocodile tears.
An article from yesterday:

“Jim Justice wallops Joe Manchin in race for Senate: Poll”
Man, I am so tired of the GOP whimpering about this and that but never having the guts to do anything about it.
Then there is a real possibility that Justice accumulated his wealth by not paying his debts. Everything is not a government conspiracy that fits the FR narrative.
“YES SIR, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?!?” 🙄
It’s so refreshing to hear the Massachusetts “insider” view of the comings and goings of West Virginia politics.....and considering Mooney, Maryland’s also.
I do agree with the swipe at current DoJ.
PS.....Al the carpetbagger was/is my Rep.
Jim Justice a cut-throat bussinessman?
Jim Justice not paying money due?
Jim Justice keeping an army of lawyers ready to protect his interests?
Oh! The horror.....
And afraid of the DOJ coming after their family.
How Obamaesque!
Who is that man behind the curtain?
They may well be unless there is a RADICAL improvement regarding vote fraud. Odds of that?
Even if they lose power, who believes Republicans will go into high gear prosecuting their REAL crimes? I don't, not for a minute.
Any relation to Buford T?
Unfortunately, Justice’s family’s coal business is a target rich environment. He & his family were very well known in the state for shady & unethical business practices. So well-known I was shocked he was elected the first time. However, he did run as a democrat then after switching from a republican. After Trump won in 2016, he switched back to being a republican. He was re-elected as a republican in 2020. In 2016 his shady past business practices were swept under the rug since he and his family saved the Greenbrier.
Another surprise, he’s actually been a good governor, though some of that credit goes to the super majority GOP legislature. The number of Rats left in the legislature both Houses wouldn’t fill a large family table at a Fridays!
Crying foul is going to hurt!! (Not.)
I have family in the mining services industry in WV & Kentucky. Justice mines are notorious for not paying their bills. I have a relative who said if we get a service call from a Justice mine I tell my techs get the check up front or no service call! They have the same indifference to mine safety. They prefer to spend thousands on lawyers rather than fix the problem.
All is fair in corrupt gov’t.
They are behaving like they know Republicans don't have the nerve to do it back to them.

“motto, for the GOP. call them the ‘Cry Foul’ party. right, cry foul with big crocodile tears.”
And they pounce and bounce too.
More and more it’s starting to look like you should determine who to vote for based on who the DOJ attacks.
You mean our gutless RINO GOP? Hey Romnete, step down and let a true leader lead.
