Count Dodgers legend and future Hall of Famer Clayton Kershaw among those upset about the team’s bungling of their Pride Night.
Kershaw recently announced and publicized that the team would be re-launching their “Christian Faith and Family Day” after the team invited, then un-invited, then re-invited the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a queer and trans group that uses religious imagery and mocks Catholicism to call attention to sexual intolerance.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Kershaw admitted that the timing of the announcement was, in some part, related to the Pride Night controversy. “I think we were always going to do Christian Faith Day this year, but I think the timing of our announcement was sped up,” Kershaw said. “Picking a date and doing those different things was part of it as well.

patronizing
The Dodgers and major league baseball sure are eager to prove how tolerant they are, and how eager to celebrate diversity.
They not only re-invited the fake nuns, but are giving them some sort of award.
Do these Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence do any sort of community service, of any kind? Why in the sam hill do the Dodgers feel compelled to give them an award?????
They invite a group that bashes Catholics, but they don’t even welcome Catholics to the event to “make up for it.”
They should have a Communism Sucks night. Have Karl Marx believers strung up as pinatas for the children.
When I win the lottery and purchase my baseball team, my first priority is to tell my marketing people to release a simple statement saying: “Just to make it clear, we don’t get involved in politics. We’re a baseball team.”
Because management is a bunch of woke butt lickers
Dodger Blue Lite
Nothing good ever comes from patronizing movements who already hate you. Dodgers front office showing how completely out of touch they are from their fans.
How about just focus on baseball, you know, hits, runs and errors? Is that too difficult for them to understand?
Pitchers and Catchers.
..And a bunch of cowards.
Should never have left Brooklyn.
The SF Giants players and management, on average, are more conservative than the Fodgers. Same with the 49ers. Unfortunately, 99% of all sports team owners are all-in with the alphabet agenda.
Why, they “educate” the children, of course!/sarc
If I were on that team, I would demand a trade. If they don’t get right on it, I fake injuries and whine publicly. I flat out wouldn’t play for a team that is anti humanity. It is like playing for Hitler, the depths of hatred the ownership has.
When the A's were threatened to leave, and were considering moving to the South Bay, the Giants said they owned that territory, and did everything to push the A's out.
The current owner of the A's is a Giants fan and former Giants owner. He colluded with the team so he could move out of the area.
No, Dodgers, you can’t sit on the fence and please everyone. You can’t have a “Day for Satan” and a “Day for God” the next.
Like Bobby sang, you're gonna have to serve somebody.
Sorry, the Bay Area doesn’t need two teams. And with the s-hole Oakland’s become, especially.
Sometimes I even wonder why the White Sox even bother staying in Chicago? When they won the WS they were virtually ignored. Compare and contrast to the celebration when the Cubs finally won the WS.
The A's are a better team, and they are the victims of collusion. Why should the A's have to move, when they saved the Giants?
