TRUMP CALLS AG KEN PAXTON’S IMPEACHMENT ‘ELECTION INTERFERENCE’

Republican Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was impeached by the Texas State House of Representatives last week, sending shockwaves across the nation.

According to the Office of the Attorney General, “The General Investigating Committee’s politically motivated investigation against Attorney General Paxton is predicated on long-disproven claims grounded in hearsay and gossip.”

Paxton has been a mainstay America First AG in the Lone Star State and won his reelection in November by a landslide, along with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R). Paxton was also endorsed by President Donald Trump.

Trump himself commented on the impeachment proceedings in Texas, writing on Truth Social, “MISSING IN ACTION! Where is the Governor of Texas on his Attorney General’s Impeachment?”

In a separate social media comment, Trump remarked, “Hopefully Republicans in the Texas House will agree that this is a very unfair process that should not be allowed to happen or proceed—I will fight you if it does. It is the Radical Left Democrats, RINOS, and Criminals that never stop. ELECTION INTERFERENCE! Free Ken Paxton, let them wait for the next election!”

There's nothing better than a weekend spent with loved ones.

I've been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support that I've received the last few days, and I will forever be grateful to be blessed with such incredible family and friends. Thank you all. pic.twitter.com/l0qMJDbLfI— Attorney General Ken Paxton (@KenPaxtonTX) May 29, 2023

According to a report from The Epoch Times, House Republicans voted to impeach and subsequently suspend Paxton in a vote of 121-23, based on colorful allegations of bribery charges and “abuse of public trust.”

In response to the actions taken by the State House, Paxton’s office released a more than 370-page report that dealt with the complaints and actions taken by “former political appointees” of the Texas attorney general’s office.

Per Epoch, whistleblowers related to these varied charges investigated by the House Committee were allegedly fired by or resigned from Paxton’s office, reportedly kick-starting a federal investigation at the behest of the DOJ, although no charges have been brought.

Further, Paxton’s office clarified:

“In August of 2021, after nearly a year of diligent investigation into these claims from former employees, the Office of the Attorney General released an exhaustive report that ultimately refuted each of the former employees’ allegations. In that report, the OAG stated it would further investigate the allegations and supplement as necessary. Subsequently, the OAG retained an outside law firm to conduct further investigation into the claims of retaliation by the former employees.”

Attorney General Paxton will now be referred to the Texas State Senate for trial.

If you are a citizen of TX, you need to be flooding the phone lines to your representatives in the state legislature and governor’s office.

Dems don’t care if there people are dirty, so why should I if some of ours are too. KP has been good on looking out for Texas and working to secure our elections here in Texas. Good enough for me. The Dem candidate that ran against him was a POS socialist. If the majority of Texans didn’t have problems with allegations, then leave him alone.

Election interference? With the overwhelming bipartisan result from a Republican investigation, how so? And are Republicans just to let Paxton continue if he’s dirty or sloppy or whatever you want to label his actions? He might have been doing good, seems so, but that should not give him a pass anymore than Trump should get one for his actions.

This is nothing more than RINO attacks!

AG Ken Paxton came into office and cleaned the house of the low-life Democrat bureaucrats and they all went screaming with hearsay and innuendos to the DOJ and to the RINO-controlled Texas House of Representatives!

The republican Speaker of the House, Dude Phelan, worked with the Democrats in the House to win Speakership. And then, Phelan commenced to giving Democrats Committee Chairmanships (even though the House is WELL-MAJORITY Republicans)! He is a POS, RINO and he has done everything he can to SCREW Texans, including letting AG Paxton get RAILROADED on hearsay that even the DOJ has been unable to charge him with!!

This committee took a full year to “investigate” but never even bothered to ask Paxton for a sworn statement or to come in for an under-oath interview, NOTHING!! WHY?!? Because the majority RINO committee didn’t want any exculpatory evidence to cloud their already decided judgment of “guilty”!!

This committee was so worried and so upset with what Paxton was doing to the office of the AG, that they let him stay in office for over TWO YEARS before they decided they needed to impeach him!?! If he was illegally using State funds and illegally bribing people, wouldn’t you want that POS out of office and out of your party NOW??!!?? But not these RINOs, nope, let’s let him keep working for the good of the state in filing lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit against Biden, but four days before our Bi-annual Congressional session ends, they just “had to do the right thing” and impeach?!?! LOL!

Will Paxton be in line to be the next Governor? That’s all that matters.
