And this site was basically 100% unanimous praise for Ron DeSantis up until just a couple months ago, then he had the audacity to dare to run against Donald Trump in an open primary and now a good number of people here act like he's Benedict Arnold and America's Biggest RINO.
The pandemic is the DeSantis camp’s favorite issue because it’s the easiest one for them to lie about. Most people don’t remember all the details of who mandated what, or who supported what policy. They just remember it was a tumultuous, dark time for the country and that it happened under Trump’s watch. Blaming Trump for all its ills is an easy sell to people who don’t want to bother wading through the actual details.
The CCP is probably smiling as they watch Covid revisionism being used to take out Trump a second time.
The GOPe spent the last 2 years creating the myth of DeSantis’s flawless handling of Covid, and all done so they can use it as their main line of attack against Trump. DeSantis has nothing else to run on.
