Professor of what?... Hate?
I know who needs to be ‘taken out’ and it’s not white people. But if white people were to disappear, they’d have their society in ruins in no time at all.
You just know it has to be African Studies.
Must be tough to live with all that paranoia and hate built up on the inside. Tough to eliminate imaginary enemies.
If you summarily hate a class of people, chances are you don’t know any of that class on a personal level. There are exceptions, but you just don’t hate most of the people that you get to know. I know there are exceptions, but the vast majority of people have redeeming qualities of some kind.
Brittney Cooper is an Associate Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies and Africana Studies. She received her Ph.D. in American Studies from the Graduate Institute of Liberal Arts at Emory University in 2009. She also has an M.A. from Emory (2007) and bachelors degrees in English and Political Science from Howard University (2002).
Brittney Cooper doesn’t ‘get it’... HER people sold their fellow citizens for centuries. YES THE AFRICAN SLAVE TRADE WAS RUN BY BLACK AFRICANS.
NOT BY WHITES.
Some white bought the ‘product’ which was wrong. Slavery was evil and we should NOT have been involved in buying people anymore than decent people should NEVER buy stolen goods. It makes us part of the evil by buying from evil people.
But in our defense - we ended slavery here - then we went to Africa and ended slavery there. The good people won - and we won with the help of decent brave black citizens. And who lost? Africans who ran the slave trade for centuries lost. THOSE are the people who should pay blacks reperations and pay US for freeing slaves and for putting a stop to their evil.
Tell me Brittney Cooper when are YOU going to help all of us (black and white) get our reward for ending slavery from the African slave traders?
Look at Zimbabwe and South Africa, once very modern and prosperous societies, now heading for the sewer.
