NATO doesn't have any troops there.

The quote that I used and linked to calls Ukrainian army, “a NATO proxy force”, and also “Ukraine's NATO-trained and supplied Army”. These quotes are not misleading, and they are accurate.

On February 24, 2022, the Russian army had 190,000 troops as opposed to Ukrainian 600,000 troops.

“The West is desperate to avoid having any meaningful discussion or review of the Battle of Bakhmut “

Russia is desperate to avoid having review of the epitome of a failure in Ukraine. They believed they were taking Kiev in 3 weeks.

The inept Russian military is obvious for all to see. Now, we can transfor most of our military to Asia where the real threat is. Russia is a nuisance at best and the NATO Euros can handle them.

It is true. Russia has an economy less that a 40th of that of the US and NATO. They were lured into this mess by incompetence, provocation and other clandestine means by those who hoped to crush them. Unfortunately, the plan has highlighted the inability of the West to accomplish anything worthwhile after spending Hundreds of Billions of dollars, displacing 25% of Ukraine’s population and causing the deaths and mutilation of hundreds of thousands of hapless pawns who found themselves in the middle of this boondoggle.

And yes, I say Hundreds of Billions because creative accounting where the replacement value of military assets we have given Ukraine is ten times of the value they are currently being assigned.

We spent 20 years and over $150 Billion in Afghanistan only to end our involvement there in the most humiliating and idiotic way possible. The consensus in countries which represent 90% of the world’s populations population see Russia as the victorious underdogs and the West as hopelessly stupid woke buffoons.

And those like you who have been cheerleading for this stupidity are the most comical of all. I hope you are proud of your support of the Biden administration and a bunch of Neocon Demopublicans. When you are on the same side of an issue as AOC and the “squad” shouldn’t it cause some type of pause for reflection? What a joke!

A car costs $12,000 in Russia. An apartment is $500/mo. You cant compare the US GDP to Russia GDP with taking into consideraton how much cheaper it is in Russia.

Sorry NATO and the US’s economies are 23 times larger than Russia’s. This conflict is likely to push every Western economy including ours into severe recession while the Russians are still taking in far more funds than they were before the “invasion”. The “sanctions” are being ignored by 90% of the world’s population and our NATO allies have been cheating as well.

This is true. Their economy is far more resilient and self-sufficient than our own. People live comfortably in Russia for far less than is possible here. And their people's standard of living has continued to increase even in the past year and a half while ours has been on the decline.

Would either of us choose to relocate to Russia... not a chance. But the Native Russians I know continue to go back to visit and they report that conditions there have not changed in any substantial way.

“...world’s populations population see Russia as the victorious underdogs and the West as hopelessly stupid woke buffoons.”

You absorb Russian propaganda like an IQ-less amoeba. The world sees Russia for what it is, a totalitarian state that has an inept military and an inept leader.

Russia has no means or path to victory and its credibility is shot. Hence, nearly every former Russian Warsaw Pact ally is now in NATO.

Hell, now you even have Finland and Sweden coming into NATO.

Please keep up your pathetic juvenile insults, they are amusing and display your bully like constitution. They do run counter to reality and reveal mostly that you are a full on Bidenista who slurps up whatever he is told by his fearless leader. Hey, I hate to tell you, but your foreign policy genius took another tumble yesterday. He landed face down but the Whitehouse said that he is going to be OK. What a relief!

nearly every former Russian Warsaw Pact ally is now in NATO.

Even a broken clock gets it right twice a day. NATO expansionism against an antagonist that has an economy of less than 5% of those who are lined up against it is largely responsible for what has taken place. This has been botched foreign policy that has gone wrong for decades. NATO has been a complete waste of money since the Soviet Union disintegrated.

President Trump has been the most ardent and effective critic of NATO. This is one of the primary reasons that deep staters from both sides of the aisle lined up and stole the election from him.

And no, basically everywhere in the world where Western media does not reign supreme, we have become laughing stocks because of our inept leadership. Joe Biden is the perfect example but he is certainly not alone.

Russia has no means or path to victory

Largely because of the “sanctions” and uncertainty in the energy markets... Russia continues to make Billions more from their exports every month that this continues. The oligarchs in charge on the Russian side have been given a financial incentive to drag this out for as long as possible.

Western leadership continues to brag that they have lowered the price of Urals crude to $50 a barrel when they are fully aware that under the table deals inflate the actual price to over $80 a barrel. The response to Western “sanctions” has been to use cheat using creative accounting. Even our NATO allies are in on this. It is a joke.

https://www.intellinews.com/urals-oil-price-is-increasingly-meaningless-allowing-russian-owned-refineries-in-europe-to-build-up-slush-funds-271098/

Bakhmut was a stunning defeat of a defensive force that was much larger and better equipped than their attackers in what had been characterized by Zelensky himself as a key position that would never be allowed to fall...

So tell us all, where is the Ukrainian Spring offensive that has been funded by God only knows how many Billions of dollars from US taxpayers? We are all waiting with baited breath for that one. I am sure that your acerbic rhetoric will be vindicated. /s

Bert, I wanted to let you know that Lindsey Graham thanks you for your support in post #30 at https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/4157681/posts

It is comforting to all uniparty deep staters when other Neocons cheer them on.

Keeping sucking down the Putin propaganda.

Ukraine is a colossal failure. Even Russians know it. That is why they are leaving Russia.

Trump was a supporter of NATO, he just insisted that they pay their fair share.

Trump was the first President to send kinetic weapons to kill Russians. He also killed over 200 Russian Wagner special ops in Syria. He slaughtered them like pigs.
