How anyone imagine a worse embarrassment from the Biden administration than the Afghanistan debacle? But we definitely have it here. In 2021 Russia had a GDP of $1.779 Trillion, while the United States had a GDP of $23.32 Trillion 13 times larger and the European Union had a GDP of $17.177 Trillion. Combined our economies were over 23 times larger than the Russians when you add in our other "allies".
So how can what is basically a 3rd world country stand up to all of this wealth and power and not only not be crushed but thrive and actually be winning this conflict. Western economies including our own are being pushed toward a deep recession and maybe worse largely as a result of the Ukrainian situation. It is because of very bad leadership on our side. The West and especially the United States has some of the worst leaders in history. And this is not just the Biden administration... it goes much deeper than that. After repeated failures our influence in the world is taking a much bigger hit than it has previously. 90% of the world lives in countries that are completely ignoring Western Sanctions. Trump is probably right. Get a cease fire signed in 24 hours. Pledge to give Ukraine F-16s. Build up their Air Force. Give Ukraine 500 billion dollars (250 from EU and 250 from USA). The Russians will agree to it because they will attempt to rearm and attack again in a couple of years. But the Ukrainians would agree because we'll give them more money and planes. They might run out if the West decided to cut them off in a year.
