“Lee’s pushing for Red Flag laws”
I KNOW!!! In TENNESSEE! What is WRONG with that guy? Hopefully, the Legislature will intervene. Is this Lee’s last term?
Lee’s page on Wikipedia says he’s early into his second term. It also reads like a near-flawless record of conservative policies that tells me not to throw this baby out with the bathwater.
Recall that he did push for and sign the Permit-less Carry bill into law despite nearly all LEO organizations opposing it. All I can figure is the tragedy was too close to him to distance himself emotionally regarding gun issues at this time.
