Because Putin's Russia, on a whim, launched the bloodiest land war in Europe since WWI, Ukraine is entirely justified in defending itself, including taking the war to the aggressor.
Regards,
Not on a whim.
Not the bloodiest land war in Europe since WWI.
Actually it was very predictable when we gave the green light to NATO admission by Ukraine in October 2021: https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukrainian-president-zelenskiy-holding-talks-with-biden-adviser-says-2021-12-09/
Actually a very limited conflict on the Russian side where certain weapons aren’t used, not all their manpower is thrown in, and collateral damage is attempted to be limited, POW are taken, exchanged, etc. It would have been far easier to just steamroll Ukraine. Taking a place and trying to both limit the damage and hold it is far, far more difficult.

You just don’t want to see this aspect of the war.
This is a war where the Russians are taking mercenaries from US, UK, Germany, Rep of Georgia prisoner. If the Russians really wanted to, do you know what they could do with these people when caught?
Do you realize, while these clowns come back home and want to tell their glorious stories, and you talk about the bloodiest war, Russia had every right to (((HANG))) every last one of them: https://www.google.com/search?q=us+pow+in+russia&oq=us+pow+in+russia&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i60.5947j0j7&client=ms-android-xiaomi-rvo3&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8#ip=1
