Social Media has been a big contributor to the downfall of civilized society. That anyone can say anything anonymously without consequences has brought out the worse in people, especially our youth. I was on FB for maybe 6 months and left because of all the inane posts.

I never joined Twitter because I knew it was even worse with its absolute anonymity. TikTok is just insane, with everyone wanting to be the next big thing. It reminds me of the movies Jackass - anything goes.

Yes, I know that our education system, entertainment, news media, politicians, parents, and the liberal/socialists started it years back.

Hell, I admit the Boomers (me) were the beginning in the 60's with their "If it feels good, do it" mantra.

Interestingly, Robert Bork's book, "Slouching Towards Gomorrah" puts some of the blame on the Greatest Generation. Why? Because after WWII, the economic opportunities were abundant so those parents let their teenagers run wild, while they pursued economic success with the loss of the stable family unit. He may have a point.

Now add pornography to that. You would not see the number of straight men wanting to either cut their privates off to be women or just to look like them so they can be aroused all day if it wasn’t for porn. Also pedophilia would not be pushed and promoted and child trafficking wouldn’t be so high. Epstein Island would not be a thing and the CIA would have to work a hell of a lot harder to blackmail and control people if people were not so addicted to porn.

But then again, every downfall of man starts with a thought. Because entertaining a thought always leads to action. Who ever controls your mind or emotions controls the person. The churches failed to teach that and became weak, appeasing the world and not God.
