I always thought Trump was particularly patriotic when he donated $100k to the Clinton Foundation while Obama was POTUS. I was a conservative when Obama was POTUS. I’ll be one when the situational “conservatism” of Trump is gone, too.

They are all about taking out Trump - they do not support DeSantis for what he stands for, only a means to attack Trump. DeSantis is not a lacky for the establishment as his record of accomplishment in Florida makes clear.

True, but should you dare to point out a mistake Trump made or criticize him, you are a Never Trumper, unpatriotic, establishment supporting, freak.
Something all presidents should do is a thorough background check on any expert brought forth by government workers to deal with a crisis. If he had known that Fauci was partially responsible for the Woohan lab research, he might’ve chosen more wisely.
The question now is did he learn anything from his previous dealings with the Swamp? He’ll be able to fire some people, but most bureaucrats are snugly burrowed in and protected by civil service rules.
I have done a search on Trump's Truth Social page... Donald J. Trump, @realDonaldTrump.... and I do NOT find this particular post.

Trump is coming off as a completely unhinged lunatic now.
Desantis was one of the last governors to do a lockdown and one of the first to reopen. He finally reluctantly issued the lockdown after talking to Trump and after Trump extended the Covid restrictions he had issued at the federal level. At least Desantis admitted it was an error to acquiesce to Trump and quickly changed course.
Trump has a good week every other week. And then he has a very stupid one in-between. This is one of his stupid ones.

DeSantis didn’t do worse than Cuomo on Covid. But he wasn’t perfect. He made his share of mistakes that tend to get glossed over.

Add to that the fact that Florida has a huge number of elderly retirees (many or most from New York?), which is the age group most affected by Covid. Not DeSantis’s fault, certainly. But Trump couldn’t care less about pertinent facts, apparently.
I wont accept desantis because he is deceptive and lies. That said Trump is the better alternative because I have seen what good he can do for people for decades, usually not covered by media then and definitely not once he ran for office, and the good he did millions of people in US and beyond in 4 years as President.
what’s Ron done other than take steps toward line his pockets with tax payer money or donations from people who hate the USA? he’s a govt employee past and present always on the tax payer dime.
