David Zaslav, the CEO of CNN’s parent company Warner Bros. Discovery, yet again stood up for his overhaul of the struggling cable network, which has faced intense criticism since ditching its left-leaning commentary.
Zaslav said CNN’s team is “working hard” to reposition the network, and that “Republicans are back on the air” at CNN while speaking at the MoffettNathanson Technology, Media and Telecom Conference in New York on Thursday, according to Variety.
He went on to say that CNN’s notoriously “left-leaning” brand was changing, and cited a YouGov poll that found an 11-point improvement in US viewers’ trust in CNN, Variety reported.

There are PLENTY of Republican jerks, starting with the NeverTrumpers - so putting on ‘Republicans’ does not have any meaning by itself.
But putting on Trump supporters would be a different story, but I cannot imagine that happening.
Republicans or god fearing constitution and country loving conservatives. There is a difference. The Bushes and Cheneys and Romenys and McCains are of the former group and definitely not the latter group.
Trump is a nevertrumper? I didn’t realize that.

I don’t think it’s possible to be both conservative and a NeverTrumper - considering what Trump accomplished in his first term, particularly regarding the courts.
Previously 100 respondents trusted CNN. A new polls showed that 111 respondents trusted CNN for an 11 percent improvement.
Republicans, maybe.

Putting RINO Establishment NeverTrumper types on the air isn’t going to help you CNN. They are by far the smaller faction of the Republican party and my sense is more and more of them are coming out of the closet as Democrats like the Neocons before them.
That is a stunning admition. Now, many of recognized that CNN had become a left leaning echo chamber that controlled the narrative, but Zaslav just blatantly admitted to it. That is really quite profound if one considers it. This is the second article this week in which millions will miss the incredible message that was just made public. What is to be made of a so called news network proclaiming 'republicans are back on the air at CNN.' What...were they secretly banned? Is CNN admitting to gaslighting the American public? Should CNN continue to enjoy claims of being journalists and news-people, when really they have acted as propagandists and indoctrinators? And most importantly, is the a legal concern here? Some sort of violation of the law in broadcasting for a 'news network?'

Byron Donalds went on CNN right after the townhall and got into a big fight with the panel over their slanted treatment of Republicans.
