Dear Neil, What took you so effing long? You had years to speak up. Now that Covid has been declared as “over”, you find your balls and voice.

It’s like Durham”s report being released too late.

Feckless freaks.

Good grief.

He has to maintain some modicum of public impartiality, as he may be asked to decide cases regarding COVID-19.

What he said, and Alito before him are powerful indictments of government overreach. People should let those comments register, and consider how they will respond the next time to a pandemic, etc.

Internment camps held 125,000 Japanese people in World War Two.

I once had a Japanese-American roommate. Her parents were interned in one of those camps.

They told her they were grateful, because there was such intense anti-Japanese sentiment during that time and the camps protected them.

The Bible had it right from the beginning it’s is not death which enslaves, but the Fear of death.
I got to spend 5 minutes with my husband before his open heart. So I crawled on the bed and we were laughing and cutting up. The nurse walked in and said in her entire career she never saw people laughing in those last moments.
Later I told her, if it were our last moments together here, they were going to be fun ones. We know where we are going and are utterly unafraid.
85% of Americans took the vax.. that is holocaust levels of obey without question.
This loss of civil liberties started with trump telling us the biggest lie in human history. 2 weeks to flatten the curve.
Then he paid it pharma billions to save us.
If Obama would have been prez there is no way 85% would have taken it. My progressive acquaintances now see that trump was their greatest ally.
Here on FR it is clear many would give him their last round, last weapon and call it 4d chess.

“he may be asked to decide cases regarding COVID-19.”

He already has. Many times. SCOTUS didn’t want to get involved.

I couldn’t agree more. Americans can crow about “land of the free/home of the brave” all day long, but once government successfully plays on their fears, they will become stunningly malleable and submissive. Look how the majority of Americans willingly … no, EAGERLY … surrendered their freedoms when Fauci and Co. convinced them they were going to die an agonizing death if they don’t lock themselves down and wear masks.

“85% of Americans took the vax.”

Gotta link for that. I find it hard to believe the % is that high.

“This loss of civil liberties started with trump telling us the biggest lie in human history. 2 weeks to flatten the curve.”

I would suspect that Trump was deferring to the “experts” as a “pandemic” was totally out of his wheelhouse. TPTB had his nutz in a vice and were cranking down on the handle using a three foot cheater bar. Put the blame where it squarely rests..... on the people who orchestrated these crimes against humanity as well as those who allowed it to happen for over two years with nothing more than whimpering and the spreading of ones butt cheeks.

It’s no wonder the pervs are running amok as they watched US and the rest of the world spread em wide and continue to do so.

Correct, they did not get involved, because states have wide powers regarding public health. That’s part of the deal with Federalism.

They did get involved when OSHA was used to try and mandate vaccinations on a national level. As they should.

An effective VISUAL propaganda blitz of Chinese dropping like flies in the streets was all that was step one.

Propaganda blitz overlay that video of instilling fear of the unknown, attaching worst case scenario certainty as an official government stance cross verified from EVERY known source was step two.

Fauci funded the creation of a virus that would kill millions and Americans gave up fundamental rights out of fear.

Fauci needs to report to Nuremberg for his trial. But the Democrats will never allow that to happen because they took advantage of Covid-19 to beat Trump. Biden was able to campaign from the safety of his basement in Delaware and the rest is history.

The wartime draft violates the 13th Amendment. But Scotus says that’s OK.

And through it all, I never encountered anyone dropping dead or wretching in the streets.

@4. You are right but the goal was to destroy free enterprise capitalism. Look at how many Marxists have held key positions in Comrade Obama’s regime and then added to Joe the Brain-damaged Biden’s circus of nuts, ignoramus, and traitors.
