I read elsewhere at the time, that this all may have been related to her dating somebody else’s ex-boyfriend.
No family should have to discover this is how their daughter spent the last few moments of her life before she passed out and lay there, bleeding, unassisted.

This is just Benny Crump getting air time. There is a warrant (from Mexico) out for the arrest of the attacker, who was part of her travel party. Oddly, they name the people she traveled with but won't say which one is the attacker.

Not sure what all the mystery is about as they changed the cause of death and are willing to prosecute. Now, if Crump wants "justice" he needs to get the suspect extradited to Mexico. He won't do that, or even call for that so it's all air time for him while he waits for another case.

I'm amazed that people still believe that politicians care about them. Of course Crumb tries to bring race into it. Gabby Petitto was murder in the US. Shanquella was killed in Mexico. That means Mexico investigates the crime.

Shanquella Robinson died while vacationing with friends in San Jose del Cabo in Mexico in October 2022. Shortly afterward videos emerged of her being viciously beaten by other members of her party.

Seems to be a lot missing from this story. What was she doing in Mexico? Why did her so-called friends turn on her?
