By the time all these gun-control laws recently passed by these blue states make it to SCOTUS, firearms stores will have closed, law-abiding citizens will have been punished for carrying concealed weapons, and citizens' rights will have been violated. Until these law-makers are held personally responsible for deliberately violating people's rights, they will continue to pass these laws regardless of what the Supreme Court has decided.

Eventually the court will have to rule that the 2nd amendment applies everywhere and that it is no different than the 1st amendment, all laws restricting it are null and void. They might offer that the only legit course of action by any federal, state, and local government is to propose and act on amending the constitution. And good luck with that.

What needs to happen is:
1. make All CCW licenses national. or, go constitutional carry, no license national.

2. Eliminate the in state ONLY requirement to buying guns.
If you are NOT a prohibited person. You should be able to buy ANY gun, in a FTF transaction with an FFL.

(background checks and waits determined by states). But as a Ma (licensed) resident. I Should be able to buy a pistol in Florida or whatever state from an FFL and take it home with me from that establishment.

The lunatic asylum they call the Legislature in Maryland went further than New Jersey in their “sensitive” areas. These morons passed a law that the dimwit governor signed that prevents self-defense in virtually any location in the state except a single family home.

A person would need express permission from store owners, individuals, businesses etc. to carry a firearm.

Maryland was forced to follow the Bruen Decision and became shall issue last year. In 6-8 months, over 100,000 citizens began carrying firearms. State Police testified before the lunatic asylum that there have been ZERO incidents. ZERO.

Yet, the fools still shoved it through and Governor Stepn Fetchit dutifully signed it.

Within minutes, several gun groups filed multiple lawsuits.

If gun ownership and carry-ship of law abiding citizens were such a problem, there would be bodies all over the place, y3t for centuries, law abiding citizens have carried guns all over the nation with no issues. Instead we have centuries where the vast majority of law abid8ng citizens have carried guns wherever they went and never once used them except in self defence or for recre a tonal reasons

Th3 only problem we face in America is that criminals with guns both illegal and illegally who abuse the right to own. Punishing law abiding citizens for the crimes of illegals is unconscionable- every bit as much as punishing every driver for the crimes committed by drunk drivers.

With over 40,000 gun laws on the books nationally, and another 100,000 or so state regulations on guns, it is enough- far too much Infact. If none of those laws are “sensible gun laws” then get rid of them because they aren’t doing anything but punishing law abiding citizens while allowing criminals to skate when They are charged due to liberals protecting criminals while punishing law abiding citizens.
