Eventually the court will have to rule that the 2nd amendment applies everywhere and that it is no different than the 1st amendment, all laws restricting it are null and void. They might offer that the only legit course of action by any federal, state, and local government is to propose and act on amending the constitution. And good luck with that.

You’d think it would be that simple. Yet so far SCOTUS has, for the most part, seemed to refuse to take up 2A cases.
But, hope does spring eternal, as they say. Much of what is going on in the country, 2A, immigration, equal application of the law, unlawful/unconstitutional executive orders/departmental regulations, could be (at least temporarily) resolved with the SCOTUS making strict rulings based on the Constitution.
Maybe . . .
